Grande amico, ottimo video X le feste natalizie, mi sto sta gustando questa salsa di tecnologia-jappo-otaku davvero grandioso, ottimo elemento, tanta fortuna!
@OldSchoolNYCGamer yeah there quite rare to get hold of spec the Astro Boy ones these days - a cool addition to my ever growing gameboy console collection : P
@XFile2708 thanks Marcus, it's been on my want list for ages, i never thought i'd get the Astro Boy one though, i totally lucked out on ebay on that one SWEEEEET! def look at getting one there great : P
@cracrapain thanks dude - it's def one of my fav items in the collection, the screen looks great with the back light on, i'll bring it round soon for you to have a go : )
@tootyuk thanks Stuart it does rock! i got very luck with the auction - it was totally hidden in the midst of ebay and there it was the holy grail of gameboys! and only £2.20 postage from Japan lol
@28steryan yeah dude still the same address - i'll sort you out a little something to! i thought you'd like the gameboy light! it's pretty dam sexy mmmmm
I still have a grudge that Nintendo took so long to have screen that was lit. What movie is is the game over line from? The actor is Bill Pullman right?
@hetrogamr84 it was either long battery life or colour and the batteries last 20 mins! it's Hudson from aliens dude - in the words of homer simpson it's bill paxman you idiot!
They were really stuck on the back light point or more battery life over everything point for quite some time. Even the Gameboy Advanced did not have a back light, except for the very hard to get later version of the SP.
It shows you there have been a lot of advances with batteries, look at the life the DS's and the Sony PSP get out of a rechargeable battery, with much more advanced graphics, sounds and gameplay.
@electricadventures yes it was either colour and back light and crap battery life or longer battery life and not being able to play in the dark a tough choice back in the 90's it usually came down to how much batteries cost, which was alot! i didn't know the backlit screen sp's were rare they seem two a penny over here - glad you enjoyed it dude : P
Nice vid . I would have loved a light on my gameboy color when I was on a airplane to my grandparents back in the day but no stuck with low light for hours to new zealand . I do rember a ad for a gamboy like that in osaka airport back in 98 wish I bought one .
@timeteam1982 that would have been mega cool to get one back in the day from the motherland japan - it must have been super cool to go there, one day.....
Yey the Lynx prevails you can play it in the dark for 10 minutes before the batteries went.... never seen the light, you have given me a new mission i must have one NOW let the search begin... cheers mate great vid :)
@adfot1 no worries dude glad i could en"lighten" you to the gameboy light - it's pretty dam cool - but the lynx has california games and road blasters so it still wins! good luck on the hunt for one : )
