  • isnt the spanish muppets voice that of Luis?

  • Get over yourselves you egotistical puppets, LOL.

  • When I saw this as a kid in the '70's, I couldn't understand any of the Spanish part, but now I can understand it fairly well. What a difference education and life experience makes.

  • His singing chops weren't quite developed yet.

  • I'll bet Emilio Delgado voices the spanish speaking muppet.

  • Bingo.

  • He does. At least so says Muppet Wiki.

  • He DOES. I know it, I can hear him. That is Luis' voice.

  • @1RichardHunt

    Very good observation!

  • Who is the singer? Her voice is gorgeous.

  • Oh. I just looked at the tags. Didn't think of it. Thanks, Marshal.

  • Marilyn Sokol

  • Such beautiful singing on the girl's part. What a pleasure to listen to it.

  • A great little song to remember these days. Sing it every time you see stupid weight loss and anti-wrinkle ads. It's so simple- just having self-satisfaction. Thanks for uploading!

  • Marshal, you did'ent need to upload this. Wattamack4's account got reopened.

  • Well, his is in not-to-great quality, where as this one is in excellent.

  • Oh, you're right. But I think NantoVision uploaded this in the same quality as you have it.

  • He didn't even upload it.

  • Oh? I could have sworn he did. My mistake. Sorry about that.

  • Lol, I remember the music of this song being on "A Celebration of Me, Grover" DVD, but then I heard the actual song for the first time on the first volume "Old School" set and was like XD.

Another example of recycled scenery 0:39 I remember that backdrop being used for the Country Mouse/City Mouse sketches, and 1:21 for a Super Grover sketch, lol.

  • I think the background at 0:39 was also used for the 1975 verison of Bein' Green.

  • No, that was more a swampy background.

  • You're thinking of the 1969 version of Bein' Green. I was talking about the 1975 version shown on I'm Glad I'm Me.

  • That's just what I mean. Have another look at it. There's quite a difference.

  • Actually, I take that back. It is pretty much the same background. Somehow, I had failed to notice the fence in that version of "Bein' Green". My mistake.

And I believe I've seen background the guy was singing in too, though off hand I can't remember in what sketch.
