When I saw this as a kid in the '70's, I couldn't understand any of the Spanish part, but now I can understand it fairly well. What a difference education and life experience makes.
A great little song to remember these days. Sing it every time you see stupid weight loss and anti-wrinkle ads. It's so simple- just having self-satisfaction. Thanks for uploading!
Lol, I remember the music of this song being on "A Celebration of Me, Grover" DVD, but then I heard the actual song for the first time on the first volume "Old School" set and was like XD.
Another example of recycled scenery 0:39 I remember that backdrop being used for the Country Mouse/City Mouse sketches, and 1:21 for a Super Grover sketch, lol.
Actually, I take that back. It is pretty much the same background. Somehow, I had failed to notice the fence in that version of "Bein' Green". My mistake.
And I believe I've seen background the guy was singing in too, though off hand I can't remember in what sketch.

He does. At least so says Muppet Wiki.

He DOES. I know it, I can hear him. That is Luis' voice.

Well, his is in not-to-great quality, where as this one is in excellent.

Oh, you're right. But I think NantoVision uploaded this in the same quality as you have it.
antsamthompson9 3 years ago
He didn't even upload it.
MarshalGrover 3 years ago
Oh? I could have sworn he did. My mistake. Sorry about that.

I think the background at 0:39 was also used for the 1975 verison of Bein' Green.
Jbrangwynne53 3 years ago
No, that was more a swampy background.
Garrettk41 3 years ago
You're thinking of the 1969 version of Bein' Green. I was talking about the 1975 version shown on I'm Glad I'm Me.
Jbrangwynne53 3 years ago
That's just what I mean. Have another look at it. There's quite a difference.
