WOW! I recorded this years ago, when it was shown on CITV. Unfortunately it was on "my" first video tape, which cost about 49p from the local cheap-n-cheerful shop in town. The tape broke about 2 days later and they never repeated it!! Thanks for posting this dude =)
actually Dan Akroyd once said that Slimer is supposedly the ghost of John Belushi (thing was that when Dan and Harold Ramis was making the screenplay for Ghostbusters, they considered John for the role of Peter Venkman, but when he died in 1982, they re-wrote the role to be played by Bill Murray)
Thanks so much for posting this. I remember this well. It was done to promote both the cartoon and Ghostbusters 2. What an interesting programe to put on kids tv. These days of course all ITV show is old repeats of morse its rubbish sadly.
I think one of the main problems with kids' TV these days is that there are now so many regulations and codes that must be adhered to, the content is rendered so 'safe' that it just comes across as patronising.
Shame, really. Children's programming like this was truly fantastic, back in the day.
It was great back then kids tv. Shows like Going Live etc where watched by teens and adults. I have noticed a lack of teen programing as well these days.
