  • Dennis Kucinich and Ron Paul, two of the only true patriots in our government.

  • lol, 'reform ' ..............

    this guy wont do shy-ite

hes a puppet who makes good money in his 'job'

Maybe after his carreer as presidential puppet, he will get a job as an actor

  • Anyone who has talked to people who actually live with socialized medicine will tell you just how great it is... IT ISN"T! Without a telepromter Obama is nothing- how sad.

  • It's "teleprompter", and he was great without it when he embarrassed the GOP congressmen in the last two meetings with them. He kicked their collective asses -- no teleprompter.

    Get over it.

  • @tgrigsby7 I can't believe they are still talking about the teleprompter, a stupid non-issue.

  • Dude, can you read? I was responding to someone else. And no, it's not a stupid issue so long as the right wing whackjobs keeps pretending the Obama needs a teleprompter to kick the snot out of the GOP.

  • @tgrigsby7 Hey, dude, I agree with you completely!! The fact that the right wing whackjobs ever made an issue of it at all is what I was referring to.

  • @interloper65 There are people who live with some sort of socialized medicine who also think it is great. Fact is, people who have universal/single payer/socialized whatever you want to call it think America is pathetic because we are at the mercy of greedy insurance companies. & Obama doesn't need a teleprompter to talk to a group of people, thats SO ridiculous!

  • Thanks Mr. Kucinich. I voted for you for President once and I will again. You are 1000% correct on everything you say.

  • Kucinich is a HERO.

  • Hi, I'm Canadian! Nuff said. Game over. Period. End of story.

  • Not the end of story.

You better worry about what goes on in the U.S.

Just because Canada only has one road, does not mean you won't get over run if the U.S. turns into 1934 Germany.

We're only one law away from that, thanks to traitor John McCain's new bill that will throw anyone in jail who protests against the government or who supports the protesters.

Canada is to the U.S. as Poland was to 1934 Germany. Your country will be the first to fall in our imperialist take over of the world!

  • i could not agree with the congressman more we must have a public option or this will do absolutely nothing to help the American people and will continue to make the insurance companies even richer

  • @ lennyneroau has it right. this bill is a huge gift to republicans. the private, individual mandate is a big gift to republicans. democrats should be for medicare for all, single payer not for individual private mandates that make big insurance rich. big insurance who denies you care when you need it, in order to bost thier bottom line.

  • This bill is a suicide bill. If it passes it will sink the democrats so it must not pass. The public will have to be forced to buy PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE.

  • this guy is such a puppet its a wonder anyone listens to him anymore

  • this guy is such a fucking puppet its amazing anyone still listens to him

  • If you want to give someone the right to be healthy. You will also have to take away the right from him to be unhealthy e.g. regulate what he eats, drinks, smokes, sexual practices. Did I forget anything ?

  • @BeantownJim could you define marxism to us please?

  • that's cos you are an unducated fool who's mum and dad is brother and sister...

  • Try to get people to be forced to pay for this hahaha

  • BeamtownJim it's about time that it is a right, as it's a right in other civilized first world countries. It's more important than being the world police, by far, and think about the amount of tax dollars funneled into that. I respect your opinion but beg to differ. The health of our own citizens is more important than being personal armies for other countries, and if one disagrees with that then I don't know what else to say to him or her. In the last decade health care has been low priority.

  • But our health is for sale! Why are monopolies and massive corporate welfare tax breaks not considered to be socialism, but single payer Medicare for all is?

See the disconnect here? Why should we pay trillions of dollars more, just so private insurers can stay in business?

They are the primary cause of bankruptcy in the U.S. They are also the death panels who deny benefits when they are needed.

Wake up and smell the fascism. Single payer is the way. It's cheaper and healthier for all!

  • there is no right time to tax everyone and force people to pay 15k a year or go to jail.

  • No wonder he was marginalized in the primaries, he is a man of principles and will speak the harsh truth.

  • heh if only ron paul supported publicly funded health care, then i could see a paul/kucinich team in the making. Let's face it - Obama just wants to pass "something". As long as it involves health insurance companies getting money I think it's a really really stupid bill.

  • ya the bill is incredibly horrible

  • I just can't listen to Obama without a need to go and vomit.

  • obama.....has he kept even one damn promise he made during nis campaign???liar....vvall st sellout creep!

  • Same goes to you, StupidEvilC.

What does your stupid question have to do with the fact that Obama is indeed a sell out to the upper 1% plutocracy and corporatocracy?

Now only the stupid brain dead supporters of the Blue Dog DINO-Fascists support Obama.

  • StupidEvil, are you illiterate? You must be to have misinterpreted my comment. Better go back to school and learn to read.

  • RawFool ~ Your comments don't make any sense... you're trying to tell me that "Now only the supporters of Blue Dogs support Obama"... Wha?? haha Are you illiterate? "You must be to have...." haha Keep it Raw Fool! Next!

  • StupidEvil, I make perfectly good sense! Progressive Liberals and Democrats no longer support Obama, and neither do the Republicans or Conservatives. Who but Blue Dog DINO supporters are left to support Blue Dog DINO Obama?

Again, it is you who can't comprehend, and actually, it is your incoherent comments that don't make any sense.

  • @BeantownJim A basic HUMAN right is to be healthy. A CIVIL right. Not a constitutional one, uh hello???

  • Oh Fucking PAALLEESE! The constitution is vague about what promoting the general welfare means so excuse me If I don't defer to your happy ass and wait for the supreme court to issue an opinion on what that encompasses.

  • @BeantownJim Typical kneejerk neo-con talk. Blame the liberals. The horrific PATRIOT act was passed under which administration? Bush? The law that emasculates the 1st, 2nd, and 4th Amendments and drastically effects the 10th as well? Liberals didn't write the PATRIOT act, and Dennis Kucinich (a liberal) didn't vote for it. In his own words, he didn't vote for it "Because I read it." Blame Bush and the corporate centrists, not liberals nor true conservatives like Dr. Paul.

  • Better read the preamble to the Constitution. The federal government with the permission of WE THE PEOPLE, has every Constitutional right to enact Single Payer and/or Medicare for all.

The Patriot Act was voted into law under a Republican Congress and White House, so get your facts straight as to who is giving up our constitutional rights.

Also, the 4th Amendment is in the Constitution, not under the UNCONSTITUIONAL Patriot Act.

  • goddammit, you had me at we the people then lost me at usurper. this guy is not a kenyan and the birthers ALL OF THEM are fucking stupid!. just look at glen beck. stupid as fuck, nothing real about him

  • WE THE PEOPLE don't want the current HCR bill because it doesn't have single payer, Medicare for all.

It is not "breaking the Constitution". That's why after all of these years, we still have Medicare for seniors.

What usurper? Obama is the president because we say he is; we being the voters, Electoral College, Congress, Dubya, Supreme Court. End of story!

The rest of your ADHD incoherent rant also has nothing to do with the subject at hand.

  • 60% and climbing want this usurper out! 60%

  • What usurper?

Obama is the Constitutionally elected president of the U.S. WE THE PEOPLE voted for him, the Electoral College confirmed our vote, so did Congress, Dubya/dick left willingly, then Supreme Court Justice Roberts (Republican) swore him in.

Only through the impeachment process can he now be removed from office, but for anything other than his birthplace.

Good luck with that! If Pelosi was unwilling to impeach Dubya/dick, they you have absolutely ZERO chance Obama will be impeached!

  • His long form birth certificate is either locked up burnt or hiding! He never proved his birth right! What he showed was a birth form not the original birth certificate And all of his other records are sealed His College His senate records His passport ! eveerything!

  • Actually, Obama has proven his birth right. Even the REPUBLICAN governor of Hawaii confirmed Obama was born there.

But again, the question of eligibility became moot the second he was sworn in. The time to contest his eligibility was before the election, not after.

Obama is the Constitutionally legal president of the U.S.

    Deal with it sore loserman.

  • what someone else has said Is pure heresay Its not tangible in court It is not proof!

  • HA! HA! HA!

You don't know what you are talking about! His birth certificate does not have to be certified in court. It was an administrative procedure, not judicial.

Even the Supreme Court has thrown out cases challenging his eligibility. Why? Because the question of Obama's birthplace is moot!

    Deal with it sore loserman.

  • In order to be President of the US you need to verify your citizenship of birth in the US He didn't Never showed the longform birth certificate with the doctors signature his birth weight the hospital etc etc etc And he sealed his records the first day in his usurped office!

  • You still don't get it!

The time to verify birth was before the majority of voters elected him, not after he was sworn into office.

He is now the indisputable constitutionally legal president and cannot be removed from office, no matter where he was born!

Besides, 99.999% of the population agrees with me, not with you, not that it matters.

    Deal with it sore loserman.

  • @BeantownJim Come on

  • If you say he can't be president, then why is he the president?

The time to contest Obama's eligibility to run for president was before the election, not after. The question of eligibility became moot on January 20, 2009 one second after he was sworn into office.

Neither Clinton nor McCain thought he was ineligible. Also, nobody went to court to protest his eligibility anywhere in the country; not in any precinct, not in any district, not in any county, and not in any state in the union.

  • hahahah! Are you really a part of "We, The People"? Read the fine print, "buddy".

  • @SXJULIE

I just can't fathom being healthy a human right. In what sense is being healthy a right of any kind?

  • droogie ~ so you're saying people don't have a right to be health? What kind of a piece of shit are you?

  • Supersnatch: First you're the piece of shit and second: if you can't figure out the simple difference between the "right to be health" as you say and the "need" to see a doctor who provides a service after studying and paying tons of cash for years of school to become a doctor then you're not fit to live in a free society.

  • Where does it say in the U.S. Constitution that corporations can receive massive profits at the expense of the middle class health and wealth?

You want to continue to give away your Constitutional rights to the corporations. Why do you continue to vote against your own best interests? That is why the middle class has had its wealth stolen by the upper 1%.

It's 1933 Germany all over again. Wake up and smell the fascism.

  • Sorry folks... I like a lot of Kucinich's ideas, but I don't want progressives to vote against the first step of HCR along with the rest of the repugs based solely on principle..

This bill IS a giveaway to the insurance industry but this bill saves lives. If Kucinich wants to vote against that then fuck him..

  • Couldn't agree with you more... fuck him if he votes against this.

  • If you force millions of people to purchase private insurance - with NO cost controls, with no competition, with penalties if you don't buy it - then you're gonna throw another bus onto the train tracks of our already FUBAR economy. It would ruin us. ALL of us.

  • How is expanding Medicaid bad..? How is extending the age that children can be on their parent insurance bad..?

How is ending rescission and allowing people with pre-existing conditions to be able to have some type of care bad..?

The bill does little to change the system but could help millions.

If you want to hand over another legislative victory to the GOP, be my guest.. I still remember 2000 and I don't want a repeat of it ten years later.

This bill saves lives. Period. End of Story.

  • If you're 55, the insurance companies can charge you three times what they charge a 54 year old. If you think that adding another financial burden of mandatory insurance with no cost controls to an already stagnant and overburdened economy is going to save more lives than it ruins, then you need to get a prescription for medical marijuana, because the crack you're smoking isn't working.

  • Well asshole, you can sit with Kucinich and the rest of the purity trolls while 45,000 people die a year because of lack of Health Insurance.

And you can also move to stall a bill for another year because you have an ideological bone to pick with 99% of Congress.

Again I never said the bill was perfect. Medicare, COBRA, and Social Security were not perfect when they were passed. But passing an imperfect bill now saves lives and provides a base legislators can work with in the future.

  • Americans deal in reality, not fantasy. There is a opposition party that vote against world peace if they thought it would bring Obama or any other Dem an electoral victory.

We have corporate consevaDems willing to vote against their party's base to please the corporate overlords that fund their campaigns.

And we have purity trolls like Kucinich that vote alongside the GOP and conservaDems to prove an ideological point that helps NO ONE!!

  • The bill if passed will be fixed, but if it gets killed now we are all fucked. People like you are the reason the GOP fucks us over. Even Sanders is voting for the bill, knowing he a lot more about it than you..

Kucinich BTW voted against a bill with a Public Option in it.

I'll say this one last time, any member of Congress who votes against this bill can get fucked..

    THE END.

  • you trust the centrist democrats to actually fix it in reconciliation? The same schmucks who conned the people into voting for them in 06 because they said they'd end the war in Iraq? Wow, are you naive.

There is a way to fix it in reconciliation, which would follow the rules of affecting only existing programs: Medicare for all - expand it to cover everyone - it'd be cheaper, and wouldn't further wreck the economy by giving everyone an additional financial burden like mandatory insurance.

  • Dennis Kucinich. A man with balls, and principle.

  • PAUL/KUCINICH 2012!!!

  • Very different on economic matters though.

  • yayayaya!!!!!@scion!kucinich is a MAN!(his vvife is hot and a foot taller than him! LOL)

  • She is also much younger than him too. Kucinich is a man's man. He bravely fought off the Cleveland mafia and literally dodged bullets in his own home to keep from being assassinated by them when he refused to sell the local electric plant to them.

Kucinich is one of the very few representatives in Congress who actually takes his oath of office to heart. He literally protects the Constitution with his life!

That's why he is a real man and why he is such a babe magnet!

  • @scion53 Love Dr. Paul's foreign and fiscal policy. Hate his domestic policy. He wants to deregulate everything and let the free market shake itself to death. I'd much prefer Kucinich/ Ventura 2012, and name Dr. Paul Secretary of the Treasury and have him get our money back to the Treasury department and end the Fed. And with Jesse Ventura as VP, Dennis would be safer from assassination attempts because they'd be more scared of Jesse than Dennis!

  • Yes, put Paul in charge of strangling the FED in the bathtub. That is one of the few things Paul and Kucinich have in common. They both want the FED put out of business.

    No more socialized plutocracy!

  • I am amazed that idiots are giving me thumbs down for wanting to do away with the FED whose job is to steal money from the middle class.

Apparently, you idiots don't have a clue. No wonder the upper 1% plutocracy now owns more than the bottom 95%. The clueless continue to vote against their own best interests!

No doubt, they will give me a thumbs down for this comment too!
