I agree with everything he said, mainly the points about how loose the control is and how ass the camera is on boss fights... and the fact that they add jumping to the game at the same time they removed the precision control makes this game frustrating for all the wrong reasons

The guy reviewing this game is being a bit too hard on this. This game is one of the better Wii games out there if you ask me. I see what he means about many of the mini games but the controls are not as bad as he's making them out to be. I find the controls to be easy to learn and well implemented. If can't even get past a simple obstacle in the first world that would generally mean you suck not the game.

@0325bodo I disagree. Far too many times I've lost hearts or lives because of a motion control that didn't register or too much fluctuating play in the analog. I also definitely miss having more access to items like it is in the N64 port of Ocarina of time's c button remapping.

@0325bodo The motion control would be fine if they responded accurately. Depends, if OoT remake still has Navi rudely interrupting me, nagging me with "Heys" then fuck no. That owl was annoying too. But if at least those problems were addressed then yes I'd get it. O and hopefully they keep the golden skulluta glitch, where near the castle, go into a hole near the tree, kill spider and back out before the boomerang brings back the token. Hopefully it's not on the Wii2, then I doubt I'd buy it.

@0325bodo not all remakes are 100%. Even some things released on the virtual console on the Wii aren't. They may for you, but they don't for a number of others out here. O well. I have Ocarina of Time on the Wii VC. I prefer it on emulator, but at least on WII I don't have to stay bound to the computer. I still like Link to the Past best.

It's a fair critique. I was a diehard Monkeyball fan from the Gamecube versions. The biggest problem with the wii version is the controls. I would have much rather used the analog stick on the nunchuck to steer the ball than the wii motion controller.

Volcanic Pools world, Level 5 is too difficult for any human to beat. It took me roughly 50 tries until I beat it through blind luck.

Haha... yeah... this game was a major disappointment. I was so annoyed by the addition of jumping in the main game. It completely killed what I appreciated about the game mechanic and how challenging it was before. Also the physics in this game were abominable. It's as if everything is inflatable. There was this one stage (10-5) where you had to jump across platforms with spikes all over them. Because of the bouncy physics, it was almost impossible to win... It might be the hardest thing ever...
