Black background 3 light set up looks like the key light was on the right not the left. I get the gist of the issue though. 2 lites ( key light & hair light) with a reflector to fill in the shadow would produce the same results. ( for those on a budget :-)
Great to see you guys doing this, but with all due respect, there's something a bit out of order with your video. You show a great dramatic shot with the model's hair pulled back all against a black background. It appears to be lit with just a single source from high camera right. But, you never show **that** setup. Just thought you might like to be aware of it...
Well, I wasn't arguing that shot couldn't be seen. (see my commennt) But clearly *that* shot was taken with one light high and to the right of camera, not the four softbox setup shown.
Could you briefly explain the post production on the first picture shown (2:28)?

@ hr114: The 2nd "dramatic shot with black background" can be seen ,briefly (that's for sure), from 2:30 to 2:56.

Sorry, I missunderstood your post!
The setup the video refers to (4 softbox setup) can be seen in the models website:

Great guys. Good makeup tip near the end from Chris Reeve. (Pleasantly surprised to hear makeup mentioned at all!)
