Agree. I got Skate 3 now and, well, I do play it more than Tony Hawk's, but just because it is something new to me (got X360 recently, like feb/2010, so it was the first time I played a Skate game, after Skate IT in my cousin's DS).

Skate is real, Tony Hawk is "arcade".

Not many says Gran Turismo/Forza is better than Burnout, because they're different...

@ mvc2k for me that's nowhere near tony hawk , skate 3 is much closer to a simulator, you really need training to do the maneuvers that to me is much more pleasurable. Now tony hawk in the first time you play will come out jumping off the impossible and actually do a grind in a climb and gain speed, 90 degrees and fly back to grind is completely impossible. It is these details that makes the game boring, the idea of​slow motion was good but does not help

I honestly prefer the Skate games, I played every Tony Hawk game and I was obbsessed with them, Until Skate came out. Its much more real, Like in Tony hawk, Landing a Rocket air is nothing, Up and double tap circle, But in skate, You have to line up everything :D
