  • are you using crushed coral or live sand???

  • what kind of lights are you using?

  • Nice looking tank

  • how many pounds of live rock do you have in there? And are you using a sterilizer, how did you get your water so clear?

  • how long does it take to get your live rock to turn totally purple?

  • hey, can u plz give me a list of the fish...

  • nicest looking 55gallon tank ive ever seen! what are you feeding them btw?

  • im feeding them mysis shrimp, pellets and flakes. I do soak the food in garlic, vitamins and amino acids but not all the times. for the coral i put reef snow and some frozen food at times.

  • you need some water flow in there. an mp10 would be cool

  • @aardvarkassualt thank u. ill look into it

  • There is NOOO way that is a 55 but it looks awesome I love it

  • @MyBobbob12 thats just what i was thinking, more like 120g

  • @MyBobbob12 lol thanx it is a 55 gallon

  • @MyBobbob12 I would agree with aardvarkassualt except for the fac that the tank looks amazing. One thing that I have learned in this hobby is never mess with success. Tank looks great! I have a 55 but recently purchased a 150 that is cycling right now. Can't wait to get things moved over. I had 2x250w MH, but Purchased a third. I'm working on creating an SPS dominated tank.

  • how much did it cost to get this tank into a reef tank?

  • beautiful tank

  • Beautiful tank! GREAT WORK!

  • @ExTrEAmLyRaNdoM1234 I have over 150 pounds of rock. its cost me a lot of money cus i didnt know about youtube and i had no one to guide me thru it. But if i was to set a tank up it would probably cost me a third if not less. i bought 80% of my rock at a lfs but i wish i would of bought all of it online its a lot cheaper. equipment is also cheaper online then at a store. Anything i can help with just inbox me, Good luck and thank u for the compliment.

  • Your tank is the epitome, of what I hope my 55 will be. Fish, coral and Algae on rocks looks great. How long to get here?

  • @johnhoward1990 thank u. i have been with this tank for over 5 years but it took like 1 1/2 for it to start looking some what like this. i have had a lo of problems with it cus i dont have friends that do this and i didnt find out about youtube reef videos till about 2 years ago good luck with ur tank.

  • how are ur tangs doing in a 55??? beautful setup

  • @cod0mw2 Thank you for the compliment on the tank. The tangs r doing great they r about 2 1/2 - 3 inches each, I know that when they get bigger I may have a problem but im enjoying them right now. They dont fight at all just my hippo chases my Pygmy Angel sometimes but other then that all my fish get along. I'll be posting a better more detailed video soon

  • your tank is awesome man definately do more updates i have a 55 gallon do u use a ro/di unit

  • @manunitedfan117 thank you so much for the comment. I will be doing another update soon cus i moved the rock around and got a few new corals. I started using chemi-pure elite and im waiting to see how well it works. I do have an Ro unit at home but its not an RO-DI unit.

  • Thanx for the compliment on the tank. I did use purpleup for a while and it works great. Right now Im using (Brightwell Aquatics liquid Reef) along with other supplements from that brand and Im very happy with them. I also scrape the side walls that collect coraline algae and that helps seed the rocks with coraline algae.

  • dude your tank is so sick do you use purple up
