U did a good job and u should tell L.A Mayor to remove LED and bring back those old classic traffic light. Those LED make me goes blind while i drive.

Believe me, those LED's are the worst and are hard on the eyes. There's all the issue about the life of these things too, but everyone wants to call it the wave of the future. Go figga! Thanks for writing in!

@WestlakeSig I agree that LED signals are hard on the eyes, but they use far less electricity than the old incandescents. LED's use about two thirds less. I am a traffic signal tech here in Australia. When we LED upgrade an intersection consuming say 10 amps, once we're finished it usually consumes about 3 amps. Or sometimes even less.

You know, in thinking about it, you are right. I guess with all of us "classic signal fans" out there, you just miss the look of the incandescents. LED technology is a bit better now in that you can get some LED's that mimic the incandescent look without being too hard on the vision! :-)
