Did you install the response trigger yourself? did you have any problems? My response trigger (asuming I've installed it correctly) wont work. The pistion behind the trigger wont go in and out like it should. Any thoughts?

@VCPWykoffMN You don't have to hold the marker at an angle. You rotate the tip and such and keep the marker upright. The barell is what makes it shoot at angles. Not what angle you hold the marker at.

@camvvti the tip allows for the ball to be shot at an angle. You push the button up and down and it increases or decreases the angle. You don't have to hold the marker at an angle. If you did it might add mroe of an angle. But it isn't necessary.

the purpose of this stock is two things, 1: to run the remote line out of the back of the marker instead of in the middle and the shape of the stock enables you look directly down the sights of the gun. it's a really nice setup but you're gonna pay a lot for that stuff.

the tank doesn't go into the gun, there is an adapter on the back of the stock for a hose

polished internals is always a good move. Stocks can be good to have a stable shooting platform for when your RT is letting loose. If you do get a stock then make sure it has good clearance so you can sight up nicely or you may have to purchase a sight riser or red dot... I always go with simplicity.

The lightning rod replaces the stock rod, and the Vortex Mod replaces the Ratchet and axle. Go to techtpaintball. com to find the parts.

lol at the end of the day mate it only matters to the person who uses the gat. I have no issues with ppl using speedball markers in woodsball. highend speedball markers are dominant with ROF and depending on what role you play when you woodsball it then ROF matters. I personally play with a pump and are an aggressive front player who loves mixing it up with high ROF players.

My favorite thing about it is that I can screw on and off the Apex Tip so that I can take it off if I am using brittle paint, or I can just screw it on if I was not using it earlier.

I love that sight! I spoke to a rep for NCSTAR and he told me that if it breaks I am supposed to wash it off and mail it in to them. They will replace or fix it for free as long as it is still under warranty. I believe it comes with a 5 year warranty.

as opposed to having a giant hopper sticking out the side, a remote hose coming from the grip, unrealistic looking and feeling weapons, round pods instead of magazines, no real advantage for snipers or SAW gunners...

I love paintball, (both woodsball and speedball) but airsoft is just more realistic for milsim.

and paintball guns are MUCH more quiet than real firearms, so i'll sacrifice for the more realistic airsoft experience.

The Apex barrel is 5 and 5 / 8ths inches from the back of the Apex Tip to the beginning of the threads.

You'll have to figure it out from there.

Is there really any advantages over getting a woodsball gun over a speedball gun?

im going to start playing woodsball and possibly sometimes speedball and not sure if theres really any advantages.

Well...if you play Woodsball, people usually prefer accuracy and range over speed which is favored in speedball....I have a Tippmann A5 with flatline because usually i play woods but i can still play speed with my marker. I dont like speed because you spend alot of money on paint because its kinda spray and pray with all their electronic grips, hoppers, etc. It eventually comes donw to your favorite. Try both, play a game of both to see which you prefer.

can the apex tip be as good as the flatline with accuracy and range?

The Apex can have better accuracy over the Flatline because it relies on the barrel to which it is attached for accuracy. By putting an Apex tip on a great barrel, such as a C-Series, Lapco Bigshot, J&J etc, you can get better accuracy than the Flatline.

The Apex has 8 settings, 0-8. Settings 4 & 5 act just like the Flatline, and settings 6-8 will shoot further than the Flatline. Setting 1-3 with more of an ark, and then 0 is off.

It shouldn't curve at all unless your tip is turned. The ball should dip a little low after hitting the rubber ramp and then resume a flat trajectory.

Do you use CO2 or HPA? HPA is the way to go for better consistency which will give you better accuracy. If you don't want or can't switch to HPA you could get a stabilizer to help with CO2 consistency. I recommend Palmers Stabilizers.

If you ever have ball chops you could get some Cyclone Ups. I use TechT, but have heard that Lapco's are nice as well.
