I have the same webcam and I too felt that it might fall off one day while sitting on my flat panel monitor. I fixed that problem quite nicely with velcro. I used a four inch strip and secured the cord, This allows me to still be able to move the camera around the room with ease. I also have it attached to a 4ft USB extention cord so I'm all over the place with it. Oh and my mic sounds good with mine. Any way have fun with it !!
I can not give you an answer. Beacuse I have not tried this camera out.But The Cams have about the same Specs except the Notebook cam has a Desktop Stand,Flat Panel Clip, travel case and 2mp Max Video Resolution (software Enhanced). Both Cams use the same Optics.
I have the exact same cam! I mostly use mine for blogtv. I really like it! I use sony vegas also! I made a lot of adjustments to mine on the sound, and I finally got it right.
I saw a Phillips cam at Sam's club for about 60$. It's looked interesting, but I think the Logitech 6000 has it beat. But the Philips looks like it has better specs and features. The thing is, they did not have one connected to see how it works. So off to YT for a review of it too. I like the L-QCpro9K.I'd probably use external stereo mics anyhow, and disable it's mic.
The mic sounds great whats wrong with it?

Important Notice about this mask feature in the Logitech software...
I just got the Logitech 1.3mp Deluxe for Notebooks (42$) and it does NOT support the faces. But it does allow the filters (fatheads etc).
IF you want all that, get the Orbit or the Pro 9000 or the Pro for Notebooks that has 2.0megapixels. The Pro series and Orbit pretty much do it all.
