@lolag3r3r actually the cap´s shield is harder than adamantium, in fact adamantium was developed in an atempt to recreate the cap´s shield alloy, which was created by accident, but adamantium wasn´t as hard in the end, so if wolverine attacked and cap used his shield, his claws would actually break, but im pretty sure wolverine has other ways of dealing with him

@spawnscout I thought Vibranium was actually flexible as opposed to hard. I thought it vibrated to absorb any type of shock thus being virtually unbreakable, again without needing to be hard. I thought it was made with some asteroid residuals from a reserve which could only be found in Wakanda, Africa. I'm confused...

@ratonL i never said it was only made of vibranium, i said its an alloy of vibranium with other metals created by accident and never again reproduced. Besides, vibranium isn´t flexible, it is true it absorbs vibrations but it is as hard as any other metal

I think you're getting confused with malleable, which they would be too, first after a certain temperature though... if it bounces, it's flexible... it returns to its original shape after being temporarily deformed, I'd suppose this property is far greater in Vibranium, hence the name and the ability for it to withstand great impacts without breaking or denting.
