I think it is a reflection off a white building on the hill side...look at the angle of the sun and the trajectory. This "object" does not move nor , do you show footage of it moving...just a still
The first 2 sections are actually video footage (the second with manipulated light to see if it would show anything) but I cut them short because it did not show much. You are right, it did not move and I couldn't stay to observe it until it disappeared (the nursery closes and I couldn't leave my daughter!!) It did however flash very slowly, as if you were playing with a dimmer switch. It is easier to see on the original file with the original quality.
Youtube does nothing for the original hence I am looking for software to be able to zoom the original film file so I can make a clearer video. We get a lot of sun here so it could well be a reflection off something but it wasnt there at the same time today and I have not noticed it before... I will keep my eyes pealed though and report back if the mystery is solved. Thanks for your comment :c)
can anyone tell me how to zoom in on a video? What software can do this etc. I have learned to do the still images and zoom them but dont seem to be able to do it with film and this footage may have been more interesting if I could.

UPDATE: A friend of mine has just told me that there is a military base on the mountains around that area. I'm sure this has a rational explanation.

you can use adobe premiere. there is a "magnify" filter which does what you need. nice vid.
