My mom worked here in 1955 in the Blue Stone room asked her if she ever heard anything she didn't. On another note since Stephen King is writing a sequel to the Shining....of which lots compare this place to heck it would be a good place for them if they do a film version of Doctor Sleep since there is talk of actually doing something to the place. Went by a couple weeks ago lol.

false. i live in the poconos less than ten minutes from buck hill. the stories existed long before mtv even knew about this place. not saying i believe them 100%, but the history goes back a bit farther than an mtv show.

Yeah! There was a Jeep security guy just sitting there in front of the building. He was a big dick. I tried asking him questions about the inn and he "didn't know anything" and told us we were trespassing. We weren't even inside. We were just looking from the road.

I love this place, its friggen crazy! I took a flier from the basement! and when we went in room 354 the one kid I was with sat in the bath tub and yelled the womans name who got married (i dont remember it) and the mirror shattered and a huge shard fell perfectly in the sink! we ran so fast.. lol I wish we went into the lobby, I want a key!! Cant wait for the movie!! :)

I was at this place in 1992 and it looked like it had been abandoned for 50 years then. There was also an old abandoned roller skating rink in the area. Not sure if it's still there but it looked like it hadn't been used since th 1950's..

News flash: I worked their in 2002 at the Haunt they did and I knew the owners at the time like brothers. They both remarked to me that MTV's whole story was a complete farce and that they deeply regretted allowing them to film there b/c of the negative attention it brought the Inn. If you want to make a video about a place, do your own research...
