  • how did you get the camera to record this?

  • I have

    Sanyo VPC-FH1BK

    Full 1080p HD Video (60fps)

Also a Digital High Definition 2X Telephoto lens

It is also key do the recording before daylight has passed... the moon is too bright when it is completely dark out... making it hard for the camera to focus. hope that helps

  • Also need to have camera on a tripod or mounted... it will be imposable to hold the camera still enough for the camera to focus.

Also note: that the video was accelerated to fit 2min. as long as you put the camera in the right spot the moon dose all the rest.

  • Oh, one more question how did you get it to look through the eyepiece?

  • no eyepiece... just the camera no telescope needed... if you have a telescope then you will need a special mount and the right kind of telescope...

  • so that is just the zoom of the camera?

  • with an added Digital High Definition 2X Telephoto lens

    you got it...

  • thank you I will have to try that once I get the video camera on Christmas. I will subscribe due to your great help.
