When I was 7 a racist blonde Italian descendant girl called me "Pocahontas" to offend me. I went home and asked my White mother why someone would call me that, and if it was something bad to resemble Pocahontas. I'm half Native and all my life I had to deal with people's ignorance and racism, people even asked my mother if I was "Korean".
