  • Can i put these on my honda?

  • Best part: 0:57

  • @jackster1981 they run around $6000.00

  • that looks sweet! just like a case quad trac

  • its the same design caterpillar used to convert rubber tired skidsteers to track skidsteer. it just bolts to the hub and you have a torsion bar to tighten your track. tracks are great but concrete eats them alive an the boggies are a joke too, after market steel undercarriage is the way to go.

  • 5 grand each?

  • Let me ask: What if you had to pull a vehicle out of a ditch or a snowbank with a Mattrax equipped truck? Are the tracks strong enough to take the torque of a full-throttle pull without tearing off? Just wondering. I love the idea of these things - very clever.

  • they look cool i want them on my corolla

  • Craptracks....

  • HOW MUCH ARE THESE MATT TRACKS

  • ken block

  • (I know many people on videos say this but this is my first time saying it) DEAR SANTA!

  • 1:00 THE SNOW ATE MY LEG!

  • id put these bad boys on a fucking prius!

  • how hard are they on they the steering components

    \

  • the problem is you can destroy your suspention

  • mattraks sind so cool

  • @shanestyles11

Yes they are but you should keep your speed to 80km/h on pavement

  • @MadMaxx61 Do you have to necessarily keep these on? Or can you switch them out to regular wheels?

Or is it just to much work to go back and forth?

  • This track system is really neat. looks like they would be a blast in the woods.

  • I wonder what would happen if you fitted one of those baja racing pickup trucks with those and tried doing some high speed donuts....

  • looks like they suck on gas

  • Now that's cool

  • 0:57 hahahahaha

  • can i get sum in 58s?

  • nice vid check out some of mine

  • lol i want some for my s10 blazer

  • If you get stuck with these, you better either have some Air Force boys on the phone to lift you out or some Marines to tow you out with a tank.

  • how much are the tracks worth ? where can they be purchased? sully 2010 vancouver bc canada???

  • @Sully20101000

mattracks web site is where you can find more info on them and where to buy them.

  • @MadMaxx61 Actually there is no pricing information or links to other dealers at their site. So, how much do they go for? Can you give a rough ballpark range?

  • ya know what if you ever did get stuck how the hell are you gonna get out?cuz these bitches dont roll like tires.

  • For rich people only!

  • @tattoome5150 I doubt it... I figure they're about $2,500.

  • @SuRihtanil I called them...try more like $40K and up!! Can't believe they find suckers that pay that..

  • @jjsmizzle317 Damn... Well I guess those are written off my list to buy ever.

  • @SuRihtanil they are 30K in total i think, not near 2$ dud

  • ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!!!!!!

  • I wonder what this would do to turn radius.

  • lets see them work at moab...

  • they needs put these on an f 150 raptor, that would be some sick shit

  • do they work on amphi vehicles?

  • @sonnetxi

I can not see why not but I would think they would add some drag on it as they have larger flats on them.

  • @MadMaxx61 lol maybe you could get it up on plane!

  • i mattrack myself everyday

  • too bad they cost wayy to much haha

  • to bad they cost like 50 grand...

  • @XxClemsonTigersXx i dont know about trucks but ones for my quad cost like 5 grand

  • 40 mph bad speed , but the solution is put the tires in the bed in off road and use it in long travel on road , in this case you have put the mattracks in the bed , and its so heavy !

  • how much?

  • This is what i need in the neighborhood where all the crazy kids having fun of puncturing tires!!!

  • sweet

  • biult ford tough

  • they make a hell of a difference on a fourwheeler,

but never drove a truck with snow tracks.

  • CAN IT DO DOUGHNUTS!?!?!?

  • its amazing how much of a difference they make even though it seems they wouldnt

  • well i think its cuz they made it so they are a bolt on track now, easier to install and stuff

  • I don't really see what's so revolutionary about this. Snowcat has been doing things like this since the 1950's

  • Very good invention

  • fuck all the haters. these things are awesome!!!

  • i like how they only show it going over snow or mud..

go over some logs are big rocks and those tracks will be destroyed in seconds

  • I like when the guy falls in the snow at 1:00 .

  • They need to be broken in like snowmobile belts and tracks otherwise the snap. Also track screw with you alignment big time.

  • One probably isn't too worried about a $100 alignment if they're dropping $15k on these puppies...but to each their own.

  • they showed one a 20 too ertblurr eHh

  • @ 40 sec's i puked all over my computr

  • All because its a ford eh.

Well, who cares its just a truck, just enjoy the video

  • what keeps the entire tread from spinnin around? like a wheel

  • gravity you dumbass the weight of the 3000+lb vehicle on top

  • What happens for speed calibrations and full efficientcy and yes i know they are 4 x 4 does it go from 13mpg to 5mpg or what

  • I want that on my car

  • Looks good and the way to go. But half the fun of muddin in thrownin mud all over the place

  • what about ice?

  • Comment removed

  • look at 0:25 an maybe at 0:50

if it wokrs on snow it wokrs also on ice.

because compressed snow is nearly like ice.

  • you can stud the tracks themselves if you plan on battling ice.

but im sure with a 4 tracked system like this ice wouldn't be much of a problem in the first place. almost 10 fold the surface area over a set of tires.

  • then these would be the thing definely to have if affordable.

  • how much it$ cous .... $

  • Awesome! :)

  • can you get them for rc cars?

  • IDK, if you can get them for all RC cars, but I had one a while back that had some.

  • those things are work great while they work. I went hunting out in norther maine and my buddy had them on his truck after awhile the track kept twisting slightly until it snapped.

  • Wish I just had the money for them!! They told me it would cost around $9,500.00 for the tracks for my 99 dodge durango... Awesome product tho!!

  • hahaha thats more then yours or most other turcks are worth lol for that kinda money get a 12 inch lift and 40 inch boggers save money and still be as mobile lmao

  • i have in my lada bunch of those

  • Flotation! LOL!!! Big Foot flouts, You don't.

  • jeez, those must be so hard on a truck's steering and drivetrain.

  • I whont that to my Volvo 240 :D

  • lol at 1:10

  • That would be fun to drive something like that around. Those tracks are amazing.

  • думаю да!

  • а на уазик можно такую херь поставить?

  • Mattracks For The World.

  • i bet her in germany they arent street legal ^^

  • cool

  • mattracks, more like pussy magnets

  • hmm wonder if it was invented by a guy named matt?

  • yea one problem where the hell do u get them

  • If you have something like that, why the hell would you worry about gas mileage? How stupid, go buy a fucking rice burner then white collar!!!!!!!

  • thats tight!

  • how do they go down the road u probley get poor gas milege

  • you'll get some serious pussy with those boy lol

  • bull shit?

  • your a tool. with mattracks you can virtually go anywhere because you have so much ground coverage on each track you are virtually a bulldozer with not even a tenth of the weight

  • And your a moron who probably fucks his dog every night! That is the most redneck thing you could do with a vehicle.

  • Duh, as you can see it's more for work than rednecking!

  • i wonder if it would cost more to buy them new or attempt to build my own?...not including the bill from the hospital when it crashes lol

  • I NEED THOSE FOR MY FIREBIRD!

  • lol what the fuck?

  • Hahahaha, I would pay to see that.

  • Whoeels. LOL

  • I got a price from mattracks, 35,000 dollars, are you fricken nuts, I'd buy a used tank and convert it for less

  • dude for 35,000 bucks you could buy 3 brand new toyota tacoma 4x4's and soup them up any way you like. lol

im suprised the company that made those things sold enough of them to stay in buissnes

  • thats awesome

  • thats a redneck stile great vid i want them

  • lol wassup with me? im in my opinion

  • This is great if you want to live in a swamp.....

    :-)

  • Anyone have a rough estimate of what a set up like this would cost? I'm thinking they would be kind of expensive.

  • About 20k.

Would be fun but not worth it.

They also weight over 200lbs each.

  • ya, I figured as much. Thanx!

  • like the idea, this kid down the road from me has'm on his 4x4 quad. my question is-are they hard on the drivetrain and susp/axle components etc? it looks like they would be but i dunno. mabey not a good idea to run them on a half-ton. especially gm 10bolt axles

  • Are those even street leagel?

  • HOW MUCK

  • 25k

  • ur an idiot the tracks arent filled with air its just a long pice of rubber ur a fucking dumbass

  • dosnt he say in the vid that they have air in them???

  • yeah something about 1.5 psi but that doesn't make sense... but if you put tracks on your vehicle that takes all the fun out of wheeling!!! Unless you need them on a farm or out in the bush for maple syrup. Useless hahah takes all the fun out of digging yourself out when you get stuck.

  • What they are saying is that you would need to lower the pressure in a standard tire to 1.5psi to get the same light footprint as this tracks system. In other words, the lower your air pressure, the less you dig into the ground and stay on top of the surface. But you aren't going to run a standard tire at 1.5 psi without some kind of bead lock system.

  • Ohh ok thanks for the info. I wasn't really sure at all at what they meant by 1.5psi.

  • That is not at all what they meant. This means that with this system with every square inch of surface touching the ground there is 1.5 pounds within that area. There is no way to get standard tires down to having a 1.5 psi footprint. The surface area of one track on these tracks touching the ground at one time is almost 25 times as much as you have with a regular tire because there is over 900 square inches touching at one time per tire.

  • What they don't say is, in only very unique conditions do you need low ground pressure. Tires out-perform tracks in nearly every other condition. Even the toy versions end up back in the box in favor of wheels and tires.

  • I'd like to see some of those on my winnebago!

    sweet

  • are those things street legal?? if i wanted to get them for in the crazy winters in new england so i never get stuck

  • Ok, in the spirit of 30 inch wheels how about some giant-sized mattracks. I good 7 foot triangle would rule!

  • That truck went over the mud pit so easily

    !!MATTRACK OWNS!!!

  • Can you drive up walls :O? I mean like straight up.... I need to be able to go up building walls really fast :S!

  • i liked this video :)

    this video was good 5C

  • holy shit those are nice im gunna get me sum a them, how fast can you go down the road with them? are they street legal?

  • i think about 40mph safely. as far as i know they are street legal, you might just need modified fenders/ mudflaps.

  • betcha it rides beter

  • cool

  • is this in Alberta somewhere

  • wonderful!!!

  • is it good for mountain climbing on rocks?

  • WOW!!! those would be nice to have but...Nah to pricy for me I gotta a lifted jeep XJ, its such a small vehicle u can just put it in your pocket and walk to work.

    LOL!!!

P.S. You dont buy the tracks for the type of vehicle, you get it to fit your lug pattern of ur rig. :D

  • should put some on my mums car as birthday present, just for fun

  • you can get them for almost any thing so I would say yes for the ranger

  • I wonder if they make any for a Ford Ranger.

  • lolz the guys narrorating sounds like a bag of douche...XDDD

  • how do the brakes work?

  • :45 DAMN!

  • daymn !

  • steering must be hell with that
