Killing Diablo (Hell Mode) with a Summonmancer [No Commentary]: Part 7

you could of killed him way faster with a summonmancer if you had a cley golem and used finger mage revives. plus you wouldn't have lost any crature and wouldn't of needed any potion

eh, 20skel,20mastery,20sumres,1amp­,1revive and left over points to mages oh and 1 point to iron maiden incase someone would attack u :D

but only works if u une eni though, cuz u must teleport right onto them. personaly I like beast,2sojs,magefist/trang gloves, arach, marrowwalk 2, boneflame, 3sum20fcr2sox circ and 3 sum, 10fcr amu / str / res amu. and merc with might ofc and eth pride, bramble and eth andy or guillaume

i beat this game alot of times it never gets boring but i beat diabolo's brother forget his name because it was such a longtime ago but you need to by something to fight his brother his bro is a pain in the azz if you ask me

How do you keep your skeletons from dying against Diablo? I'm at level 26, and have 13 points in Skeleton Mastery, 7 points in Raise Skeleton, 6 points in Skeletal Mage, and 3 points in Summon Resist. On normal difficulty, Diablo just did his fire AoE at the start, and insta-killed all of my summons. I spent the rest of the fight summoning my clay golem over and over

I didn't have decrepify, because up until Diablo, I had no trouble with anything. Amplify Damage is the only curse I have so far.

@sarahbau I put ALL of my skill points into my Summoning Tree. From start to finish. So I had massive amounts of points in Summon Resist. That's the skill you want if you want your skellies to survive Diablo. Nothing else save dumb luck will keep them alive. Oh, and Trang 'Ouls Scales plus other Summoning Skill boosting items helps, too.

And why do you cast Amplify Damage on Diablo?

Amplify Damage works wonderful on large groups of monsters, which have less health than Diablo.

On bosses allways use Decrepify. They recive less damage than if you use amplify, BUT you slow them so they do less damage to your minions. Also get a frost skelemage who slows them even more, and get your merc a weapon with cold damage. The result: Diablo will move and attack extra slowly so your minions can get him easely in a stunlock.

You don't need 20 in golem mastery. And 1 point into golems is enough. However, corpse explosion is a skill to max, to became efficient screen cleaner. This is a good build for beginners or if you play untwinked. Also good for magic finding. You can beat the game naked.

My skelemancer on battlenet had:

20 skeleton mastery

20 raise skeleton

20 corpse explosion

1 point into golems, revive, summon resist

1 point into curses

the rest go to amplify damage

Gear: everything went for Magic find

OK because I am playing again and I'm 77 lvl barbarian attempting to kill andariel....I remember finishing the whole game on hell killing baal with my 79 lvl paladin...now it's so much harder with a barbarian

Use decrepify on diablo instead of amp damage, and you should've put points into clay golem instead of fire golem
