if u get top trunk sliders it pushes top box another 2inch back good for your pillion

it also raises it 1inch in height looks much better too

and heres the intresting part

it has connections to fit a sports rack on it

i am just in process of having that done

the trunk sliders are under 100 bucks

The trunk is already in its furthest back position. I had to take it off to do the canisterectomy so I moved it back. This sport rack your talking about, does it allow me to remove the trunk completely? I think the bike would look kinda neat with out the trunk.

yeah i know u gain an inch when u slide it back onto last setting but mine is a further 2inch beyond that

anyway im not sure if its ztechnic but they

do a rack that replaces the top trunk

it looks cool too

get yourself on the bmw touring community there you will find out a wealth of things off fellow riders

even down to puppy grips which slide over

the pathetic factory ones feel great

cost you about $20
