Even after all the news about Mad Cow the farms continue to feed the cows meat by products in their feed. You can tell when you go even with in a mile of a farm that feeds meat, it has a nasty stench. Much stronger than a farm where they feed a proper vegetarian meal to their cows. I'm talkin Milk cows, so this may be also transmitted thru milk. Squirrels often chew on antlers for help gnaw their teeth down and get needed minerals. Because our population is so great Gov must hide food issues

i stopped eating anything with beef the minute i herd about mad cow back in 2003. I just can't bring myself back to eating it ever again. not even the last ingredient in a product. i read the lable on everything. one time i bought some campbells vegetable soup and months later my friend read the lable and told me it contained beef broth! those sneaky slimey campbells! i threw up for weeks after! :(

ohh i had the same "problem" but these day i'm able again to eat these stuff. because i think like: also pork could have a prion disease as well - and you're dying anyway - so i really had to stop thinking like you because it made my life really hard. and also the most famous prion disease scientist in switzerland eats beef^^

The "oblivion-is-bliss" theory is alive and well! If it's not understood, it doesn't exist. This is all fascinating. I must read this book. Why haven't I heard of this book until now?

Just this week (Feb. 25 2009) the journal Nature has released a report on a linkage between Prions and Alzheimer's.

Can't post video response...so check out another possible misdiagnosis of Alzheimer's Disease...drug reaction. Mother dx'd with mid level alz 4 years ago. Took her off Oxybutynin (or Ditropan) and after several weeks, she snapped out of it, back to her old personality. She is gradually remembering words, how to tell time, relationships, etc. See my channel to view the videos, and others that I am doing ...before videos are there also, but more potent ones on my AlzheimersCaregiver channel
