There's a montage of different bad costume ideas, and one of them is a superhero's cape getting sucked into a jet engine or something. (I haven't seen the movie in a while, so I'm not sure, but I think it goes something like that.) Anyway, Alex thinks that his cape is really cool, but those who have seen The Incredibles knew that it was just a bad idea.
