the sentai version of is the mecha for the gold deka ranger in deka ranger the movie full blast action.
this mecha was never used in spd because the cannon mode of the mech resembles an actual weapon and because of fcc rules it was never used in the us version of deka ranger
in dekaranger the deka's sidearms and other weapons use what appears to be modern ammunition.
the deka robo and and other mecha use missiles and other ammo in the fight scenes. when disney got a hold of the show they changed alot and edited the fight scenes in accordance to fcc rules. things like bullets and missles where spliced over with cg of laser blasts.
I didn;t know the Blast Buggy could be combined with the Delta Squad Megazord.

FYI. the Japanese series does a movie every year. it's us who dont because ratings dropped severely after the turbo movie.
