  • I taught myself to program in BASIC when I was a child, but then forgot about it. Your video is taking me back to 1986 when the world seemed brand new. Thanks!

  • The CoCo was an amazing computer in its time. I dug mine out recently and used it as an automated battery life tester for my kid's science project. The battery powered a light which shines on a photocell all inside a light tight box. The photocell was hooked into the joystick's analog input and the program logged the intensity and elapsed time, then sound an alarm and stop when the signal went down to zero. The great thing about these machines is how versatile and easy to use they are.

  • That circle program sure is trippy looking!

  • Thanks for another great vid. btw is there any cartridge that you could put a sd card or compact flash in and copy old coco games from the web?

  • YouTube doesn't allow URLs but the middle part is coco3 has just such a cart.

  • great, thanks!! Make me miss that time when I did lots of programs coitaining circle, line, paint and draw!
