  • Ahh! To co back to those blissful days...before the phoney war on terror!!! Never mind,eh.

  • ive allways thought that if they make a live action version of this, then tom cruise would make a great captain scarlett as i think he is a dead ringer for him

  • This was always better than the actual show

  • brings back happy memories, cheers for posting.

  • Let's not forget the Mysterons were pissed off because of a totally unprovoked attack by trigger happy humans. We had it coming and no mistake.

Watch out for those falling boxes Scarlett, you may be seriously bruised!

  • In modern games all the main characters are like Capt. Scarlett - impossible to die!

  • 0:39 how would he regenerate after being eaten by 2 different sharks though?! lol awesome show either way ;p

  • @el6caballo6oscuro6 I always thought he had to have the world's worst case of PTSD - and that was just thinking about the time when he had a million tons of rock fall on him !

  • @el6caballo6oscuro6

He would regenerate as long as they had at least a finger nail.

  • Bloody marvellous. I felt like I was ten years old again and watching it on TV....

  • You wouldn't believe how happy this makes me! Hahahahahaha! Brilliant! Not heard this for about 25 years and it is just as good as I remembered. Thanks mate! x

  • This brought back some great memories, thanks for the post! I used to watch it in England, does anyone know if it ever aired in the US?

  • @goedhart123 It was on sci fi channel in america for the mid late ninties for kids to watch in the morning.

  • @SENBIE It was also on in the late 60's, about a year after first air in the UK. They hadn't lined up a distributor for North America before production, and had to shop a finished product. It was a Kiddie show, on at about 5 PM or so in those markets where it aired.

  • never clocked how goofy his facial expressions were in this

  • Lots of artwork of him dying in unpleasant ways with lyrics like "They crash him and his body may burn, they smash him but they know he'll return" which didn't appear at the end of most episodes, is this really meant for kids?

Possibly because of those things, this is my favourite of Gerry Anderson's work!

  • Cary Grant in puppet form :)

  • Excellent quality!

  • Fantastic quality. Great stuff. Thanks!

  • @ssosmcin Thanks for the kind words

  • AHH EMPTY WOODEN BOXES....MY ONE WEAKNESS!!!!

  • @Cpt50Caliber Yes indeed what a terrible way to go!!

  • excellent Quality

  • Truly bizarre! I was all of 4 years old but I remember watching this show. The images came back to me from some deep memory. As I grew up and became an illustrator, I would draw images very much like these. In fact the font used was and is one of my favorites. Bravo!

  • Very VERY proud to own the original artwork for "Snake"!

  • The Sean Connery of the puppet world.

  • @thatguywiththeegg Plus a touch of Cary Grant, according to Francis Matthews, who has openly admitted to a mild impersonation of him in his vocal interpretation.

  • I believe part of the lyrics is "wing to wing, into the scene". I used to think it was "waiting to wee, into the sea". I was that kind of kid.

  • wow so detailed :D its like HD :D love faved liked commented :D

  • Niccce quality. Is Scarlet doing a tango with the tank at 1:10 or something?
