  • "I'll secure the perimeter"

Hell no you aren't. Stop being a cheapskate and actually help me infiltrate this place, Elvis. >.<

  • @Nameless248 hehehehehehehe, I like your funny comment!!! : )

  • This is a perfect rap sample

  • @paulreveere why me?? Shoot her!! Intruder alert!!

  • Ah Perfect dark in which half the fun of the game was trying to find all the random ways you could screw up a mission, that game where Joanna was a hot british agent instead of random teenage girl (Perfect dark Zero).

  • This mission is where the enemies actually start taking so much hit before dying

  • The enemies in this level look like Fire Mario

  • you bitch!

  • My favorite thing was to shoot a guard through a window. The other guard would come up and examine him... "Meh, didn't like him anyway."

  • Why is always some asshole that don't like?

porque siempre hay hijosputa que votan como no me gusta?

Excelente cancion y excelente juego, El padre de los shooters, a mi parecer se pasa por el forro de los huevos a CoD y otros similares.

Viva la epoca retro de los videojuegos

  • Ahhh! My gun!

  • THE ONE MOTHERFUCKER TO PUT A DISLIKE... WE ARE SOOO COMING AFTER YOU.

  • @CulexInfinity 10 bucks its was a CoD fan who put it because they suck at not dying in this game

    Me: Yeah...totally agree with you.

    CoD Fanboy: IKR?

    Me: Yeah, CoD sux

  • @DarkMar1ne CoD Fanboy: NO IT DOESN'T!! IN CoD YOU CAN QUICKSCOPE!!

    Me: and?

CoD Fanboy: NO CANT DO THAT IN THIS GAME

Me: that's because its a remade N64 game that requires skill

    CoD Fanboy: WHAT'S SKILL?

    Me:......go.....just go

  • @CulexInfinity There's always gonna be a hater no matter how epic something is.

  • Are you okay?

    ehhhh, never liked him anyway.

  • @Twistedmihailo Can I say any game?

  • @Supermariofan14 Yes sir you can.

  • @Twistedmihailo Then Super Mario Galaxy series for you

  • Every song in Perfect Dark was excellent, but this one was, is, and always will be my favourite.

  • gotta give my props to Graeme Norgate for Goldeneye OST

and Grant Kirkhope for PD ,great composers.

(and for many other osts too)

  • 1:46 - 2:42 BEST PART OMG, its like a heart beat feeling.

  • FAK!

  • Level started shoot elvis in the face, lvl failed - restart :-D

  • @KABFC hehehhe, yeah ^^ all the time

  • ahh sweet memories, it's been a long time since i've heard this music.

First heard it on the N64 Version of Perfect Dark, when an Expansion pack is hooked up to the system. man i'd kill to play that version again... :)

just give me a Dragon or a Super Dragon and i'll be happy. >:)

  • @Marine071 I have my n64 at my dads house wich i visit around 2 times a year and everytime i play this.

  • @Marine071

    nuh-uh the laptop gun

    i <3 lappy!!!

  • @joeshroe

ok you got me there that is alot of fun, especially when your friends don't know where you put it.

i've been crazy enough to grab a laptop gun go into a room that has only one door and place that in front of the door so that they won't see it when the door opens and just hide in a corner so that they can't see me when they open the door.

  • 1 dislike? We must find this infidel.

  • @NerfenLied Probably the guy with the revolver who tried to gun down his own co-worker when he agreed to help you, xD

  • How do you get Pelagic II X music during the level? I done it many times but I can't find a way.

  • @NBriddell1 I believe that track only appears in multiplayer, there may have been a way to play it in the Beta version of PD, but this along with dD Investigation X, and Crash Site X were never heard in the missions, only the Combat Simulator.

  • 'Without the auto-pilot to pilot the GPS, the ship will waunder off-course, ha ha ha"

    - Joanna

    Love that line also:

"Die you traitor! from one of the pilots

  • Johana Dark is 11 years old now

12 years after, she will be in Pelagic II

sorry for my english, im fan of this game =D

  • Always loved their reactions towards shooting a guard through the door windows. Who knew there was so much emotional angst amongst the crew of a super submarine.

  • "Switch this thing off" "Plz dnt hurt me" I'll..i'll shut it down" "Die traitor"

  • @clewter369 -Steals the aggressive guard's magnum-

  • Shit! This music is so damn good, im using this whole track as a menu music for my software major assignment for school and when the music gets intense thats when two players have connected and are about to play

  • shit! this music is so damn good, 20/10

  • Sees Joanna: GET HER!!

  • best soundtrack EVER

  • In the intro of this level, there was a tribute to Shigeru Miyamoto : his head on a Mario-like corpse !

  • Super Dragon FTW!

  • Elvis: you go on ahead jo....i'll secure the perimeter. we'll meet up later

*trumpets blair from the background music*

-guard: activate the alarm! she's here!

    --falcon 7 headshot: POW!

    -guard: choke noise---dies ((ahh memories...))

  • @Ves3000

  • Great stuff right here.

  • "I HAVE A LAPTOP GUN"

    "Aw crap."

  • Perfect Dark was my most favorite game everrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I'll secure the perimeter...aka go stand in a corner and do nothing, then magically appear at the end of the level complaining about how slow you have been...

  • This level was a bitch on PA

  • @thabiznes

After doing speed runs, it got easy.

  • DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW THE ACTUAL ARRANGEMENT OF THIS SONG GOES??? I want to learn it, but goddamn.

  • Wasn't there a remix of this in game? Like on Multiplayer thats more fast paced and adrenaline filled?

    What happened to that? D:

  • @MaggotWolf13 that would be called "Pelagic II X"

  • @TH126

Thank you superjesus :D Im'a frolic away and look that up now!

  • The laptop gun was the best gun EVER, actually better than ANY OTHER (automatic) GUN ON HALO FOR SURE!

  • @AGuyAndAGun laptop gun makes all Other guns seem like sissy guns xD

  • Love it Love it <3 man Perfect Dark, Turok BEST MUSIC

  • Perfect Dark 64 ftw.....!! the new perfect dark is a failure.

  • you go on ahead joe ill secure the perimeter!

  • Hey, how about everyone stop fighting and listen to the soundtrack from one of the greatest games Nintendo ever made. Remember the good times.

  • i love this level and its music its awesome and i still playing it

    8D

  • such a good song, it sounds a lot better on the 360 version though. This still suffices. By far my favorite song from PD.

  • Nice song i cant wait to play the X-BOX 360 version of it!!!!!!!!

  • theirs goona be online co-op for xbla

  • That be sweet if you could hook up a mouse and keyboard to the X360 and play it with that. Can you? It'd be unfair against players with controllers though.

  • @jeabreg

Not exactly. It depends on how well you use either one. I actually used to be better with an XBox Controller S but ran into games that had either horrendous support (UT99 being one of them, the acceleration made it useless) or was impossible to get it to work on (Quake III), it was because of that that I've gotten good with mouse and keyboard, but I can still twitch a more precise shot with a Controller S, but some things I can do better with a mouse. It just depends on the player.

  • @AFreakinProblem Have you ever used a Laser mouse? It's way better and precise than regular optical. I use the Microsoft Razer Habu which uses laser and is way more accurate than when I used the regular optical mice back then.

  • @jeabreg

Razer Lachesis 4000 DPI with Hyperglide skates, Mouse Bungee for cable management and it's gliding across a Corepad C1 XXXL. I game across the full spectrum on many different platforms PC (including Commodore 64) and console (I got shit you probably never heard of, Colecovision is among one of my favorite old-school systems). I don't use crap peripherals on any of my systems either. I also learned how to free-look on PC in Quake and then later on the N64 with Turok 2 and Goldeneye.

  • @AFreakinProblem

    Commenting my own post.

    .

It really depends on these factors:

    .

How well the control options are implemented by the developers (Unreal Championship 1 had but Escape from Butcher Bay XBox could be just as easy as using a mouse for me)

    .

How well the player knows his/her gear

    .

How well they adjust to their gear

  • @AFreakinProblem

    Commenting my own post

It really depends on how well the input is implemented and how well a player uses it. Escape from Butcher Bay on XBox had really good looking that could be adjusted very well to the point of being easier to use than a mouse for me while Unreal Championship's looking was garbage and I had to enable auto-aim to play it. I never could get used to Halo's however, it was too springy and had to large of a neutral spot on the analog in addition to auto-aim.

  • @AFreakinProblem Yes I know they have way faster mice. Wouldn't the Poll rate matter more than the DPI though since that's what makes your mouse not skip though if you're going too fast? Idk though because mine skips in Half Life 1 maybe because it's an old game but it doesn't skip at all that I've noticed in Left 4 Dead (all of the Source engine powered games). but yeah I knew they had higher DPI mice. I think the highest DPI I've seen is from Razer (5600DPI, Mamba and Imperator).

  • @jeabreg

The Razer Lachesis has a 1000HZ Polling rate and a 1ms response time. Also my system is top notch and can run Nexuiz 2.5.2 literally three times past it's max settings and hold 30fps.

CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 Black Edition 3GHz

    RAM: 4GB (2X 2GB) DDR2 1066 in dual channel

VGA: PCIE 2.0 Nvidia Geforce 9800GTX, 256 bit, 1GB big

  • @AFreakinProblem the GTX 200 series are better and they're comming out with the GTX 400 series and 4gb RAM is kinda normal now (most regular notebooks come with 4gb standard, like the ones sold at Walmart)

  • @jeabreg

True, but nothing really needs more than 2GB, especially if your on Linux (which can handle most Windows games believe it or not) like I am. Also the Fermi GPUs SUCK, plain and simple. They eat up a ton of wattage while running EXTREMELY hot and offering very little graphics boost in comparison to what ATI has to offer. ATI (actually owned by AMD now) as of late has also been making their drivers work better than Nvidia's, even under Linux.

  • @AFreakinProblem I don't remember much about Quake since I only looked at that a little bit back around like 2001-2003. I remember Unreal Tournament real well though since I actually beat that (I liked that more than Quake III). Unreal Tournament was like the first game I beat for the PC (probably).

  • @AFreakinProblem Before that I was into NES being my first console then I bought an SNES from a neighbor for like $35 with Super Mario World and then N64 like around 1997-98 that I got for Christmas from my mom and then I was introduced to PC gaming around 2000-01 by my friend then I took A+ Computer Networking and A+ Computer Repair in High School and built my first computer (decent for gaming) which had 512 MB RAM, 80GB HD, AMD Athlon XP 2400+, and an ATI Radeon 9000 Pro.

  • @jeabreg: Aww man, I'm only 17, so I was never old enough to live in the age of NES, but I did do the SNES when I was 5 for, like a year, and then the N64 came out and I new this would be the mother of all future game systems and shall always be the best. I was right.

  • @AFreakinProblem I have an (old model) Alienware m15x notebook which has an Intel Core 2 Extreme 2.8Ghz, 4GB DDR2 667Mhz RAM (up to 8GB capable), Nvidia 8800M GTX, and a 320 GB 7200RPM HD (seagate).

  • @AFreakinProblem I think mouse helps you be better because I really didn't have that much experience playing halo back then (I used regular optical back then) and I would play people back then on a regular Xbox controller (XBox Halo 1) and I used to be really good at it. I used to win most of the time the little time I played vs against some buddies back around 2007.

  • @AFreakinProblem Mouse is better no matter what because you can move as fast as you want. Also mice specifically made for gaming have (should have) better poll rate (meaning it responds accurately at high speeds too). My MS Razer Habu has a poll rate of 1000htz and I can move my mouse as fast as I want (or can) and it will still not lose track (it does in Half Life 1 for some reason).

  • @AFreakinProblem That stuff is so important especially in Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 and those types of game because you have to react so fast. For Left 4 Dead in X360 they have this button configured to turn 180 degrees quickly. You can set the sensitivity high (if the game allows you to) but it will then be harder to pin point. I on my MS Razer Habu have a "on-the-fly' sensitivity switch (2 buttons) to set sensitivity between 400, 600, 800, 1600, and 2000 dpi at any time even in any game.

  • I'll secure the perimeter :D

  • i will fly around in the little flying saucer and look like I'm important

  • So, by "secure the perimeter", you mean you're going to stand in that corner over there?

  • @DerelictFrog33 lazy alien

  • @DerelictFrog33 and that translates to "You do all the work and I'll meet you later" lol.

  • @DerelictFrog33 I always loved that, he basically says, "hey Joanna, go do the hard stuff while I walk around this pool of water for 30 minutes"

  • @cocolaboom I reckon "I'll secure the perimeter" is Elvis-code for "I'm sneaking off for a nap". In Pelagic 2, the perimeter doesn't need securing. We're in an enclosed room!

  • @DerelictFrog33 God damn Elvis. You know you're indestructable and have like the best pistol in the game right? And yet you're still not trying to help me out?

  • 1:19 to 1:33

  • Sounds like a segment from Juno Reactor's song Navaras.

  • Great music.

  • You what? I hate the stupid 360 fan boys who have no respect for Nintendo. They come on these youtube videos and keep yapping their mouths that, "ooooo we're gonna get this soon on XBL" YOU KNOW WHAT? I REALLY DONT GIVE A SHIT! Don't you think Bill Gates is already rich enough as it is from all the gross sales of MW2? And then they thumb down any ppl such as myself who want this on the virtual consle as well. Come on ppl.... D:<

  • You mad?

Well, you obviously are, since you're PMSing at people who are glad about getting a great game.

Looks like you got a bad case of Wii Buyer Remorse there, bud.

P.S. Bill Gates didnt make MW2. The developer profited a lot more from it. Just thought you should know that.

    Dumbass.

  • Aparrently your the dumbass. Who's to say HE DIDN'T SELL THE 360 BECAUSE OF THAT GAME?! I'm pretty sure he sold millions of 360's from that game alone. Second. I'm remorsing over the fact that I bought a wii. If someone went up to me and asked if I wanted a free 360, with practically everything, I would say no. Thirdly, the people you are talking who say they're happing to buy this game. How do you know Rare not gonna flop again like they did with Zero? Think about it. . . .

  • Wow, I usually don't bite at stuff like this but being a Wii and 360 owner and being a fan of perfect Dark I have to defend. First off Lets get thsi clear. Modern Warfare or all call of duties are owned by Activision, they have the right to put that game on any system. And last I heard Call of Duty 4 Reflex is actually a great port with the best FPS controls for the wii topping The Conduit. If your happy with the Wii fine but don't put down 360 owners cuz of your selfish pride..

  • @TheMilfman7 Hey asshole, people want this on XBOX so they can explore the game more deeply with online play and better controllers(my N64 joysticks broke)... people know it will cost money, but what do you think this game was when it came out in the first place... people paid for it stupid.... BTW anyone who names themselves after some bullshit of our society is officially retarded and should be Castrated immediately...

  • @webkane123

    $10

  • Uh...suck a nut. How about that?

  • @TheMilfman7

I still have my N64 in all honesty I just want to play the game again since my N64 wire broke and it's really hard to find another one. So as long as I can play it again I'm fine.

  • @TheMilfman7 Bill gates doesn't earn money from games.. He earns it from sales of products, such as xbox 360 and computers.. If the game isn't made my microsoft, then he earns no money.

  • @TheMilfman7

By your reasoning, anyone who says they're going to get something on a certain console and is excited about it is tantamount to a raving fanboy.

It seems you're the "fanboy" here - complaining ferociously about people who just want to have fun for the sole reason that it's on another console.

Is it any surprise you're thumbed down when you post harsh, pointless comments?

What other people do with their lives is not your concern. You're arguing for the sake of arguing.

  • The best thing in the world is when you let cyber goths choose the ideas for games ;)

  • Perfect Dark, had the best music, you can possibly put on a game, yay for dark industrial themed music.

  • i like this level for the two rare glitches: Janus Guard and Riot.

  • LAPTOP GUN FTW

  • I always considered this level the slaughter misson as it was intense with lots of action and shooting. Loads of fun.

  • I've always loved this song!! :D Ever since I was a wee little lad :) SO glad I found it! woo!

  • Die you traitors! O:< *blarg* x_x *gets pwned in every way possible*

  • ooooooh so nostalgic, makes me wana wip out my laptop gun

  • Que musicaa Lindaaaa!!

Quero esse game dinovo... faz parte da minha vidah jah!! Onde compro um Nin 64 + PD??

  • I flippen miss this game D: This was above all others my FAVORITE game from my past! And this (And maybe Chicago) were my fave songs off it! I applaud you for putting this up xD

  • BEST SOUND TRACK EVER!!!!

  • you go on ahead jo! i'll secure the perimeter, we'll meet up later

  • DIE! YOU TRAITOR!

  • ROTFL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Im the best at this game =)

  • EAT DOUBLE CHARGED MAULER, BOTS!

I still hated the Dark Bot.

  • @Phazonaddict

There called Sims, kind sir. not Bots.

this is not counter strike ^^

  • @JSHADOWM They're called Sims but they are, ultimately, still Bots.

  • @JSHADOWM lol... so true...

  • i'll murder any and everybody in this game

  • Bull im past a Vetren ll on multiplayer Ill kill you

  • The Devestator for me dudes ;)

  • lol ill fail with the devestator i plant it on the wall then i run past it xD

  • yes

  • the funnest was trying to shoot those rockets mid air from the slayer....

man this game was just too fucking good. it was worth getting an n64 JUST to get this game. JUST to get the Combat Simulator in multi player. was so ridiculously fun. such an involved and in depth game.... clocked so many hours on my combat simulator character lol... days...

this game takes what goldeneye starts, and builds on it and expands on it perfectly. The only flaw with this game is getting the exp back! lol.

  • i have 349 hours clocked on the combat simulator its sooo bad-ass

  • lol i have 24 and im almost number 1

  • This and the menu screen theme are my favorite songs in the game :D

  • the farsight and the golden magnum are the best guns, one hit kill

  • Fail there slow as shit Miss your first shot and someone else with one could kill you

  • takes skill to master, and aking it fast could make it boring

  • One hit kill is for pussies.. Callisto NTG and K7 Avenger FTW!!

  • Best song ever,it kicks ass.

  • You're on crack, dude.

  • "We'll met up, later!"

  • Simply, perfect!

  • Man I hope the frame rate is as smooth as the halo games. Instead of N64 16 to 20 fps. I hope Its somewhere around 40 to 80 fps on the 360!!

  • Perfect Dark.

Perfect game. I always play it.

    One of my favourite musics.

My personal favourite weapon is good old Shotgun.

  • i just want to know why rare doesnt make games anymore... what went wrong cause from what i see they always put out gold. KI 1 and 2, Goldeneye, PD, PDZ, Banjo-Kazooie...dont know about viva pinata or grabbed by the ghoulies since i havent played those but still they have a pretty amazing record.

  • You've got to understand that the guys who are at Rare now, are not the guys who made Goldeneye and Perfect Dark the truly great games they were. A few members broke away from the Rare team and formed new games developing company under the name of 'Free Radical Design'. These are the guys who made the Timesplitters series which has so many references to Goldeneye.

  • Which is probably why we'll never see another perfect game like Perfect Dark. 'cause face it, PD Zero sucked ass.

Microsoft needs to hold a retro Rare convention, kidnap the oldies that show up, and force them to make the true Perfect Dark sequel. :P

  • You go on ahead, Jo. I'll stay here and-*shoots Elvis*

  • then restarts the mission to look at shigeru miyamoto walk by in red and white overalls again. Rare was funny.

  • @setsuma2

Glad to know I'm not alone in doing that at the start of this mission.

  • peace sim, that dirty fucking gun thief!

  • They were the Devil, Sneak up on you and disarm you at a Critical Moment >(

  • i love perfect dark! :D

espically the Far sight, i luv, it.

  • haha that weapon was so unfair for people who didn't know what it could do..."Chiefy, stop killing me!" "Man just keep moving! don't stop to look at my screen!"
