  • Indeed tip number two is wrong. In Alfred hitchcock's rope, a take can take up to 10 minutes

  • This guy wrote a shit movie and now he is giving advice of how to make a movie? Yeah for those who wish to write a shit movie. Lol

  • pretty stupid of myself, but I added him facebook, feel free to e-mail him: steamingdreaming@aol.com

  • Wow, the guy who made that horrible movie has a youtube channel? This gets worse and worse

  • SUCK COCK

  • I can go on and on about how detrimental this video is to neophyte screenwriters, so I will just conclude with saying that I'm not convinced that you've ever seen a movie in your life.

  • So I notice your not wearing a wig? You seemed to enjoy wearing one on your facebook profie a while back XD

  • the Ben & Arthur screenplay had only 60 pages.

  • You are an endless source of entertainment, Sam. I saw your movie Ben & Arthur. I am a big fan but not in a good way lol.

  • Why the hell are you giving people advice on screenwriting? Your movie, Ben and Arthur, has some of the worst dialogue I have ever heard.

  • A scene shouldn't be longer than 3 minutes? Only if you are pitching a script to Michael Bay.

  • Tip #2 is wrong. VERY wrong.

A scene can be however long it wants to be. For example, two key scenes in Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds take well over half an hour to conclude.
