@adbhutseleti The only true rock/metal country in south asia. there r a few good bands in the middle east and a very few in Japan, S.Korea and China. asia over all has good metal countries, just not enough and not very popular cause they usually dont sing in english unlike european bands.

Pakistani bands are good. But Bangladeshi bands are better. Because Pakistani bands can only perfrom good Soft and Alternative Rock. But Bangladeshi bands are good in every genere of Rock and Metal songs, from Soft Rock to Death Metal. Moreover we have some world class guitarists and we do not play songs like Atif for money and film only. We do it for pleasure.

yeah i agree on the point they are good for commercials only and to sing bolly songs for bollywood. but u are talking to about main stream bands. the good bands really dont get fame here in pakistan as there pop singers and so called rock band. mizraab, mekaal hasan ,adnan afaq,mauj,coven, QAYAAS(must check it on Facebook), knumb and so many unknown bands, mobrules, odyssey ,orion,Overdrive(a very old band)shehzad hameed band,kaffas etc.etc. which are not so famous most of em r great live bands.

Hi guys i m from Delhi, India. I hit upon this band only a couple of days back... n floored me with their songs "Mukhosh", "Shohid Shorini"...

I think u guys better stop comparing them with Pak bands... wat i believe is B'desh music has touched new frontiers with awesome recording, catchy tunes and amazing riffs.

jal is NEVER a rock band. its pop rock.so as roxen turning to be

mekaal hasan band is not rock ...they are whole new genre mixing classical and eastern music.mizraab initially was the first metal band in pak but YES now they do rock as well and faraz is the second best guitarist in whole pakistan
