Metals root is rock . rocks root is rnb and jazz and blues that root goes back to black american Gospel music .,so as far as im concerned .its already there just the themes got shifted in to a darker favor. @onab there mustn't be hate between the groups, what happened when black metal declared war on christianity, and earlier (at the start of metal) when black sabbath started with crosses (burning crosses) on stage and a church burned down (although they didn't meant to). I still think that the hate started by accident. All of a sudden people started to link their own experiences with the bad side of the church (catholic sexual abuse/slaughters ==haha i'm protestant) and started to go anti-rel.

Following the Christian faith, God is that 'thing' that started all. Try to see it my way: you can't deny that some things in this world will always remain unsolved, problems will always remain to exist, and in this image of imperfection God suits in perfectly. God is just some sort of save beacon for people to rely on.
