People read too much into a few comments from some pointless "celebrities" that no one likes. I hardly think it called for the diplomatic outcry that it has got. I just think the whole world has gone over sensitive.

I think the treatment of Shilpa by Jade etc is pretty bad, but its hardly worth burning effigies , in my opinion this kind of reaction makes India look uncivilised.

people in india only burnt effigies of the PRODUCERS of the show, and nobody else...i guess u can expect some resentment from the indian for having been hurt so deeply by comments like...'dog', 'eat with our hands...dont know where their hands must have been', 'people in india r sick all the time...thats y they r thin', 'indians finger their food...thats why their fingers r bent'...millions of people were hurt...please respect their feelings...

You should be hating Danielle far more. She's been insulting the way Indians eat, said things like Shilpa just wants to be white (when she was bleaching her face), etc. Jade is just a bully and crude, but not so overtly racist.
