Sacred 2 vs Drakensang

a friend is going to lend me the drakensang,i have sacred 2 AND 1 and the first one is MUCH better than the second,let´s see if i like more drakensang,but i doubt it :D

diablo has the engine that almost none of the same genre/class has, free aiming/no targeting. The game itself was a legend and being a 1999 game, it continued to have popularity with the passing years. anyone who says diablo sucks then u r not a gamer / nor have a clue of what u r saying.

Ahh.. the Blizzard Fanboys are here as well. What a surprise... :) Now back to topic. You cannot compare old school classic RPG with hack'n'slay like Diablo. And that's the truth.

My oppinion is: Drakensang > Sacred 2.

@Pokerface1337 They're all hack and slashes and they're all rpgs, the only differenses between them is the main themes. Diablo is classic, in fact they're all classic and the only people making new school rpg's are Koreans NC Soft and Few Japanese companies like Capcom with Monster hunter tri. There are also very few companies changing the role of MMO pvp like Blizzard, Namco with the Tales Series, Square Enix with Final Fantasy and the list goes on.

@HuntersX2NCreations I know what you're talking about buddy. I posess both Drakensang games and I am very happy for purchasing those 2. I love the stories in both Drakensangs. Part 1 takes place in Kosch with the Capital City of Ferdok while part 2 takes place 23 years BEFORE part 1. You can play Ardo and Cuano. Forgrimm had is beard :) It's a nice story with very funny moments there.

First of all: sorry for my english but I'm italian. Well I want to say just two things: @DeatgMagnet Drakensang isn't based on D&D but on the dark eye, there are some important differences. I don't want to write them all otherwise my post will be boring. I never played Sacred 2 but I read the "recensioni" (I don't now how I can traslate it sorry) and I'm sure that IT ISN' T COMPARABLE with drakensang, they are very different. Sorry again for my bad english...

Only good thing about this video is the music. Long live Rock n Roll and Ac/Dc ! Fuckin good tribute to Ac/Dc btw. :D But Drakensang is D&D based RPG, Sacred 2 is hack n slash game with quest(well, not rly RPG, but ppl like to call Diablo and Sacred as action RPG), so my point is that you cannot compare these two games. its like comparing NFS with CoD.

1: That preview of Sacret 2 was like the best part of the game... I played Sacret 2 since it came out and it's a good game, but you get bored fast you beat the game one time and that's it you don't really want to do it again...

2: I never played Drakensang, but that preview was shit the game is so much better...

I saw my cousin play Drakensang and it was WAY better that this crap preview.

ive been looking for a new rpg and to be honest sacrid doesnt seem like an exciting rpg looks a bit boring to be honest BUT drakensang looks rather surprising and good with customer customisation & lots of story....time to get drakensang :)

pfff slow paced, Drakensang is the one that is slow paced, your the first person to ever say its not. Drakensang isn't even in the same league as Sacred 2, that if they were similar. The two games are totally different that you can't compare them against each other. Action RPG and Tactical RPG are two completely different gametypes. Drakensang while being heavy in character customization falls tits up with boredom after for most people. I like it myself but its a slow game period.

I have to say Sacred was cool, Sacred 2 was not fun, I played the demo, could not get into it. I love drakensang very good old school style RPG, kicks the Neverwinter Night's series to the floor and stomps on it.

i think evry speculation placed it in 2009 is unrealistic, u have the time to play, sacred1+2

with evry class, drakensang, evry part of evry dungeons and dragons game (baldurs gate, nwn1+2 usw) d1+2 with evry char,and all parts off modded elder scolls,

u have enough time, buy whatever u want, u have at least one year left

@delosombres In a way this game is nothing like Diablo, and you obviously haven't seen Dungeon Siege 3. Blizzard is a kool company in all but After 5 years of WoW I already know what D3 is all about, nothing new, nothing special. Have fun with PvP in that game because you know they'll force it on you.
