absolutely! It's totally a Hendrix number and you can even tell by the rhythmic playing of the song that it's a Jimi-penned piece. Eric never plays that style unless he's COVERING Hendrix. One song Eric did cover was Bob Marley's "I Shot The Sheriff", which in turn got Marley popular in the US.
