its a load of shite, you can't remote shut-down a computer through an IP address, this is used for local networks only. when you open the remote shut-down it will come up with a list of computers on the local network. And yes it can be traced back to the host computer, using the admin account. Good in offices though.

this doesnt work, you need to be on the same network as the person your tracing, and administrative access to the computer your trying to shutdown. I tried and it doesnt work.

On another note from experience with intermittent pkt injection that works 1 minute & then doesn't the next is that yor physical distance from AP could be cause not usr err. Even if test injection = positive, it doesn't always mean that the pkts will start flying at high-speed.

And1 really dodgy technique I heard of is 2 send an email 2 victim telling them that there has been a security issue & that they need 2 change their pwd. If victim clicks the link in email it sends the new pwd 2 the hakr

I don't think this will actually work. Each computer doesn't have its own WAN IP Address. Each ROUTER does, and so you can't shut down an individual computer unless you belong to that network and can connect to the computer with a LAN IP Address (192.168....)
