Well on the Stone Sour demos he sounds very high pitched, but i've seen him backstage 3 times (i sometimes work backstage at some venues) never talked to him but the three times he's smoking and that could have a pretty strong impact on his voice but voice is still dictated by the shape & size of your cranium and how much of an Adam's apple you've got so it's hard for a voice to transform but easy to change

the album is like yeh pretty good..but when they play the songs live its fuckin awesome..the album doesnt rlly sound hardcore like it does in concert..they should really put out a live album..id like that more than the original..just more into his vocals than some i guess

i think its because as human instinct were most infatuated by something new, and for the most of us stone sour is new... its the faces we love and remember (corey and jim) and its a totally new sound with a fimiliar voice in a way... I use to be the biggest slipknot fan, but now i dont know im getting teh feeling corey likes stone sour more... and you siad "MORE to offer" i completley agree its like a whole new side to something we've always known.
