  • What an awful event. I just think in brain hypoxia. This is only for exhibition but at what cost!

  • this proves it. mermaids r real.

  • fake

  • im in love with the music

  • I have 150m onder water but it u practice on it u can do it better! Still impresive! Welldone!

  • I The club that i go to has a pool of at least 55m and i can swim that roughly 1.5 times on one breath without fins. But this is still impresive.

  • @Jmagnum8989 55 meter pool? fuck off pal.

  • good but why does it have to be with fins?

i can do 60m underwater long course without fins...

  • Wow I can only do 25 metres underwater without fins

  • Just watching this is making me out of breath!

  • whats he doing at the start?

  • @jackpkour hyperventalating

  • clearly this man is a mermaid.

  • @phrox merman

  • @guitardc59 Either way it's magical. :)

  • Best I ever did 30+ years ago was 100m, no fins (my kness are way less than Phelps double jointed, so kick suks anyway). I'ts a state of mind (and keep your head down). Just do it with someone present, especially if at depth. As you come up, the partial pressure of O2 drops and you could pass out on the way up (I think that's right explanation)

  • Impressive and pathetic at the same time. Those kinds of fins are so easy to glide with so use almost no energy. Its just who could hold their breath longer.

  • i ran out of breath watching

  • very impressive! good work.

  • Stop uploading videos about swimming with fins!

  • Wearing fins is cheating, do it without

  • what is that around his neck? a breathing apparatus?

  • That aint real he has a blue oxygen tank oon his backto bled in with his suit and have u seen how big his fins are and how do you know he done 206mthat is only 8 length in a 25mpool i could do that without fins!

  • I love this guy's cap lol

  • This would be good at my swim practice..

  • he even swam with less action energy conservation.. hes a grat fish!! lol

  • with those fins you swim like a whale not a dolphin...

  • Comment removed

  • 73m - my personal distance underwater swim on one breath - without fin! Trust me, with fin i am able to do about 180m; it's not very difficult for someone who's swimming for 14 years :)

  • What was that breathing technique he was doing before he started?

  • It looks so fun to swim with the flipper!

  • get rid of the fins you are not using any enegery that a normal manwould use so of course you can hold your breath week man(( what is next a scuba tank ????

  • be woried michael phelps

  • I could only go 5m without breathing and this guy does 206M LoL!!!

  • thats just insane hes a mermaid

  • even with the fins, effing crazy

  • :O OMG!!!

  • Thats a lot to accomplish

  • What is that equipment on his feets called?

  • Whatever you say about the suit and fins.

The guy held his breath for over 2 minutes while moving at a fairly fast pace.

Quick, hold your breath for 2 minutes while walking circles

    .......

  • I can't even swim 25m underwater...

  • @armadyllah *high fives*

  • Wtf

  • Is this real?

  • if i did this, u may never see me swim again.

  • everyone be quite about the "fina" aprooved suit, that rule didnt come into play 2 years after this video

  • Fake and gay

  • How is he alive?

  • When I first saw that he was wearing a huge fin, and a suit that is no longer FINA approved, I was like: "That seems pretty easy" Then, he just kept going and going, and I realized that's like impossible.

  • He's wearing an illegal suit and HUGE fins....

  • fake !!!

  • @deridaking24 haha good one

  • Comment removed

  • dope

  • This guy can hold his breath longer than my attention span.

  • i like his cap.

  • He kicked off the wall, so it doesnt really count....good try anyways

  • Guys if you wanna know what that fin is called its name is the monofin

  • fun to watch:))

  • That must feel so cool. To be able to do that

  • nice but the music sucks

  • holy crap that dudes a fish

  • So we all can come to the conclusion that hid dad fucked a mermaid.

  • fuck these 4dislikes,impressive man,you just gave me a new projet to achieve

  • I've swam 90 meters underwater breastroke in swim trunks. I can't decide if this is impressive or not....

  • Even though he did have that huge fin.. Look at how long he stayed underwater! Close to 3 minutes. Still a great accomplishment.

  • lets see him do it with out that fin on his feet

  • check out the sea bed hunting video.

  • Wow that's impressive MIKHAIL, did you used to compete in swimming or something?

  • @WalSteijn That's Navy SEAL training.

  • dam I can only swim 25meters underwater, he's a beast

  • do it without goggle or the big flippers and in deeper water then ur ready for special forces combat divers

  • I can do 52 meters without fins

  • i was proud about doing 25m haha

  • Nice breath hold but now do it without the fins...

  • merman

  • I would have been dead by now...

  • @lvelikwinter i would have been dead in 20 feet

  • me and a few of my friends in my swim club could do this if it wasnt in a 25 or 50 pool in like open sea of if they made a 300 meter pool

  • whats the best form for swimming udnerwater if u dont have fins

  • @MrRucknroll butterfly kick in a streamline position

  • I want mermaid fins. . .

  • shes like a mermaid xD

  • he was using fins too!

  • Bullshit youd die caus if u dont have air u doint have blood and if u dont have blood your heart would stop soo. yeahh

  • @XXCHRiSSYCHRiSXX so what youre saying is if you hold your breath your blood will disappear stop trying to look smart proffessor retard

  • woah that a longgg time to hold your breath

  • you beast

  • song name?

  • how bout this you use mermaid fins and i hop in a submarine its gonna be a cool race i promise

  • Nemo hat ftw :)

  • insane

  • at first i thought there and back was 200M and i was like O.O and when it said 50M i was all :O

  • Global Silence 2:45 - 3:36

  • im 13 and im on a swim team and we have to do 200m underwater WITHOUT FINS, this would be considered almost easy to us and btw 4 people cant swim

  • @mikere555 woah! how do you do that! thats brilliant!

  • @mikere555 that's bs. Most Navy SEAL's can't even do a 100 meter underwater swim so there is no way it's easy for you. Maybe 200 feet underwater...

  • @mikere555 no.... you don't.

  • @mikere555 You are lying... First of all most of you wouldnt even get to 35 let alone 200. Please take your bullshit somewhere else.

  • @mikere555 bull

  • Looks like a SEAL to me

  • its a mermaid :D

  • Wow! 2000 meters without stopping. Well done just super!

  • thats easy, try doing breastroke underwater, im only on 36 metres

  • @cheesyman1 dude in anycase as "eazy" as u think it is.... this guy is far better than you.... he hold his breath for 2mins and 30 second......... and he is proberebly exerting more energy than you.. this takes years and years of training in breathing techniques and relaxation/meditation techniques.... .. also search "ross elliot 112 meter dynamic apnea(no fins)" and this guy beats u silly.

  • @Balfourism well he's probably exerting less energy actually. that's why he can stay underwater so long. he is efficient in how he uses his energy.

  • @gn8771 it was ages ago i made the comment.. but if I remember his comment it was soothing along the line is he could stay underwater longer than this guy .. I was saying that he is exerting more energy because he was actually Swimming laps.. instead of just being underwater. but yeh... I love Freedivers and have the utmost respect for them and there practice... Hell I can do a 3 minute static Apnea( not the best I will say.. but i haven't been at it long)

  • @Balfourism oh shoot sorry didn't realize how old that comment was. I was scuba diving on an island near nicaragua and this one kid who works at the dive center would free dive with us and be at depths of 50 feet below sea level for about 3 minutes. He even dove into a shipwreck with us. He knew of a spot with an air pocket trapped inside the ship so he would stick his head up there and recover a while before exiting! awesome skill. keep up the good work.

  • @gn8771 Thats kewl.. and it is an amazing skill, it brings me a lot of Joy... and the Breathing techniques and mediation can also be used for other things.... as weird as it sounds like like Pain Reduction ( for instance if u were silly enough to see how hot water U could stand.. )..but I don't do that.. just the Breath holds are good enough for me

  • I absolutely hate holding my breath

  • Comment removed

  • @HerrKommendant

I don't know if you speak English too well or not, but I'm pretty sure I just commented saying that I hate holding my breath. I didn't say this feat was impossible.

  • @FreeTheGhetto

Haha, sorry mate, intended to reply to 51adeusadeus51adeus

Guess I wasn't really looking where I clicked. Sorry again, no offense meant.

  • Minute 1:33 he takes a breath!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @51adeusadeus51adeus no, he doesn't.

  • @51adeusadeus51adeus he was looking up to reach for the wall.

  • i could only stay down about 4 like 10 minutes then come out out of breathe

  • as cool as it is, i'd agree with anyone else who believes the fin has no place in such a feat.

  • nice but this is not 206m underwater swim, next time maybe someone get air bottle and make 2000m underwater swim :D really sux video

  • which monofin is that?

  • question. as soon as he dives under, he does not blow out air at all?

  • This is awesome. is he swallowing air at the beginning of the video?

  • @Dantesmother Kind of. He is doing what is called "Packing". Its when you force more air into your lungs after taking a deep breath increasing the amount by as much s 1.5lt. Obviously more air means more oxygen means longer bottom time.

  • nice. would think this sort of thing would cause brain damage?

  • now do that without fins

  • a lot of practis, i think :]

  • I had to see it to believe it. Absolutely remarkable, incredible, amazing!

  • "Who wants to be a Dolphinaire?" - I think I should start working on inventing gills for people to use and stuff.

  • yeah id like to see them get 50m with one breath but u can't start pushing off u just jump in and swim, u have to do that in the navy seals bootcamp and u most likely pass out

  • @bbtsba U F*$@tard obviously he could do that. He just did 206m. 50m is nothing for him. And a dive is a huge advantage. Retard. Don't comment on things you have no clue about.

  • @bbtsba you should of added without fins, and not to sound rude but he/she whoever it is could obviously do it, btw im in highschool and i do 50 m easy... but w/e man, also no disrespect by any of that because im actually going SEALs

  • cheaterrrr do it without flippers

  • @LessLeisure that's why it says "dynamic" in the description!

  • amazing....

  • why is the music always soooo gay?

  • @BBKWrithe Because the makers are straight... DUH

  • Incredible

  • ok dude i saw u keep coming up for air i thank becuase when u were done with one lap it looked like u kept comeing up for air

  • i want to do this

  • Very good, 50m pool would be big advantage. Every turn burns oxygene.

  • @justawater is a 25m pool. Back and forth once is 50m

  • he loves his sport

  • this is one of the most ridiculous displays of athletic ability ive ever seen

  • why?

  • @TheMax614 i mean in a good way

  • pphhfff easy

  • WHOA!!!! so pro!!!!!

  • phelps can beat this record!

  • The best swimmer isnt the best at everything swim related... Do not believe what if someone can do something very well Phelps can 'hand down' beat that person...

  • i can do 50 thought that was pretty much though :P

  • 1: 35. Do you see what I see ?

  • haha no he's not taking a breath. It's his hand reaching the surface. And this shit is all professional stuff.

  • @swojnicz he skimmed the top of the water. so? its shallow

  • yeah.. i see what you see....1:35 i think i do

  • shouldnt there be something at the end saying dont try this at home? i wonder how many kids have died trying to underwater swim the 206 meter lake behind their house..

  • dont warry im sure the answer is NONE kids have died trying to achieve this, cause at 20 m probably they already felt the need to breath and they stopped there...

apnea as a sport is really really secure, the accidents only happens with "no limits" style

  • wow. i can hold my breath for this long but not swimming. you kinda reach a state of meditation/euphoria when you're underwater for that long, i don't know how he does it.

  • what's the breathing technique he did in the beginning?

  • cram as much air in as possible :P, i think it is when you use the tounge to force it down.

  • wow... im also a competitive swimmer in the U.S. and i cant even go underwater for more than a 50! How do u do it?

  • Great technique! and great dive. Most of the energy is lost on turns, I can do 75m without fins..funny compared to this though

  • try doing that without the fin. i bet you can't.

  • incredible =O and sweet swimming cap lol i want one!!

  • snap man! great job, I will be there someday x-D working on doing 75m with open water split fins :-(

  • grats on the swim mate! any chance u could post an underwater vid of a DNF swim? heard u have the best technique goin around

  • I tried doing the same thing once...after my recovery I felt like a new man!! : p "Shake and Bake"!

  • Awesome swim Wal! What's that line out of Finding Nemo? Just keep swimmin, just keep swimmin ;-)

  • Nice swimming cap, incredible swim.
