It is the zone music for the area of Moors of Ykesha known as Dropship Landing zone, which is the zone in location and first "Quest Camp". In the zone music, as well as other ambient effects change depending on what part of the zone you are in.
i can't ever seemt o play eq2 longer than half a month.
it's just...the ai is so bad its boring. in eq1 you'd die and lose 4 hours of experience and would have to go get your corpse and it would be horrible, but it actually made you afraid to go places.
in eq2 there are pretty much no death penalties and mobs dont really have much aggro range...at least not anything i saw up to level 28, i'm sure later on...but...that still means a big part of the world is full of zzz
If your used to the old map, other then prettier pictures and no Frame, the new one can be similar by changing the size of it, it is also more intuitive as the "I have Quest for you" Icon on the map is now a Quill, just like over the NPC's head, and same with the turn in Icon. Add to that the ability to add your own PoIs Via the Right Click on the map, and this system will be very useful. Especially when EQ2maps finishes their mod.

Thanks for sharing. Do you know if POI's can be imported from the EQ2MAP Updater? Did they make a map for every zone?**
In reply: the guys that run EQ2Maps are in beta(and have been for awhile) and are working on an EQ2Maps updater compatible with the new map system. That said SoE has included the ability to add your own PoIs(with Descriptions) via the interface while in game, they have made improvements since this video was taken as well
Wow, what zone music is that?
