From her accent, she's Irish to the core. Most likely Dublin as well. The Republic of Ireland is a very sad place to begin a music career these days.

Most likely this is the reason she left Ireland to pursue her career in America. Ireland is still divided and they are still not that welcome in Protestant N. Ireland, UK or England to pursue a music career. Aye... sad but true!
