There are plenty of mature games for Wii, Madworld, House of The Dead: Overkill, Resident Evil 4, Dead Space: Extraction, Conduit, Call of Duty, and plenty more mature games (especially shooters). Shooters tend to work best for the Wii. It's only idiots who brand the Wii as for babies or old people.

The Wii is so great as it is simple, fun, easy to use. So therefore it appeals to kids, and old people. But it's not limited to that age range.

No More Hero's, Metroid Prime 3, Super Paper Mario, Sonic Colors, Mario Galaxy, Zelda Twilight Princess, Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, Disney Epic Mickey, Okami, Metroid: Other M, Tenchu: Shadow Assassins, Tomb Raider: Anniversary ( I played the 360, PS2 versions and this one is the best imo) Mega Man 9 & 10, Metal Slug Anthology, New Super Mario Bros. the wii is, as I understand from my not japanese, and unfortunately very americanized view of video gaming, unresponsive, desighned for exclusively for Mario MMXVII, and generaly too motion intensive for the average lazy vieo gamer (like me.)

The reason why I wouldn't buy this game is because of the soundtrack, its mostly rap, hip-hop, and some rock music. If they had classic rock in this game like Queen or Supertramp, then I would have bought this game. They should had put like a radio station in this game where you can choose which station to listen too, that would have been cool, and they should had put a feature where you can download your music from your mp3 player like an ipod, and put it in the game, maybe in the next game.

Read the developer interview (it was in Japan but I think it should be translated to english by now too).

The excessive violence is an element of humor, a kind of a mock-up, and satire of violent cartoons/comic books.

It works, the game is funny as heck with interesting narration and humorous easter eggs. It's one game you should have for Wii.

It has a lot of gore but its not explicit,its just bloody,doesnt feel like someone alive is dying,maybe because the graphics and crappy color covers the details it should have..

one good example is GoW 3,the main character rips a centaurs stomach and all the blood AND the organs comes out and very detailed.

Just picked it up used for $17. If you go to gamestop you can get it brand new for $20 during their christmas sale. Fucking incredible game mother fuckers. If you like comics, if you love violence, have a very good sense of humor, this is the shit. I don't know why I didn't get it before. The commentating, the gameplay, the art work.. superb.
