Like all "reboots" this toy looks like a piece of shit.I have 1/3 of the G1 line & I thought Rodimus Prime's Trailor was the worst till I saw this crap.Save ur $ & buy G1 toys.Even Optimus Primes old trailer had repair bay's,launching missiles & a car launcher(27 years ago).The robots in the new films R weak too.The G1 line would beat the asses of their "reboot" counterparts.Go to "Big Lots" they have knock-offs of the G1 line for $1 & U can use them 4 replacement parts of G1.We R doomed...

At 8:50 I thought there was a Jetpack in there! O_O Oh well. The Transformers in the Dark of the Moon line aren't that great looking. I have to say, the Ultimate Version of Optimus Prime's robot mode is even worse than this one. The BEST Optimus Prime out there in the Dark of the Moon line is the Takara Jetwing Optimus Prime.

whoa, you paid a total of $150.00 for that. don't you regret buying that toy when you just could have waited for the ultimate optimus prime and buy him at about the same price? and being only a decent toy just isn't worth paying that kind of money.

@iramrd At first I wasn't Happy about any of it. the figure or Spending that amount. BUT. I've had few weeks to look at an mess with it....Looking back I would have done it again. One thing i like the most is getting the video out to you guys so you can make a decission. Thats the fun part. I've paid alot more for figures that lacked alot more than this one. So i think he was worth the price. I do have the Ultimate optimus on Pre-Order and I'm hopeing he is worth it.

@iramrd Another thought i had was most of the time I wait too long to buy figures like these. Then they become hard to find and that drives the price up. Take Buster prime for example. I bought him cheep in the beginning..then decided I didn't need him. So I sold him for more than I paid for him. Now He's more than $200 USD. So I'd say get one while you can..If you can. In my opinion this will be a Transformer people will wish they had picked up.

1st of great review.

2. i ordered it but now pissed that it only has one of these mechtech weapons, the movie prime usually blazes 1 gun 1 blade or 2 guns 2 blades, i really want another mectech weapon that came with this trailer to go all out on this prime but if the US does come it, i bet the mechtech weapon will look different like no translucent blade. going to see if i can save up for another one and sell the cab and prime with box for half the price lol. this horrible

the arm flaps for the truck hood isn't supposed to be angled, but flat against the forearms in robot mode. while he does have his flaws, he's not as easily breakable as other figures.... it's most likely able to handle the constant abuse of repeat transformations.

Was it worth it to just have it? I think it was. But If you don't have a Transformer budget, then don't go broke trying to get one.Wait till they come out in the U.S.

@guiformers I think It may be a matter of oppinion on this issue. I generally tend to stay away from Voyager Figures. But the DOTM line it pretty good. If you must have this figure he is available right now on Ebay..But you still will get nailed with $35 worth of shipping cost. My opinion on this figure is positive but not so positive that I would recomend spending $105...Wait a few weeks and see if he shows up at your local store.

@Skywarped73 Teriffic and Awesome video review, I've been asking myself If DOTM Voyager Optimus Prime and G1 Optimus Prime are going to be released with the Mechtech trailer or not because the trailer for DOTM Voyager Optimus Prime is a bit longer than the trailer for G1 Optimus Prime, I won't know unless I dedcied to pre-order 2 of them (my first one during June and the other one in July) incase I decide to make some room for them in my glass cabinet.

Very nice set. I still have not seen this guy but as soon as I do, he's mine. The big gaps under the hood make him look cheap but he still looks good. Excellent review!
