  • To me, Joy Division is like. The original root that spawned the goth-punk of the 90ies such as Alien Sex fiend. Of course Joy Division is much better. Just like how Nirvana was probably the root of the growing emo scene - but Nirvana is much better than any darn emo-band.

    It's funny. I suppose that everytime you do something new, you have the basis for a new cliché - and then the original idea falls into obscurity.
