I have the same machine he does. Now a larger vacuum pump has a lot more power than probably what he has, so he has to have four hands to put it on. I've used the larger machines where it is possible to put on the tubes one at a time, but you can see that if he did that, the tube would fall off before he could get the other three on and he would get nowhere. Just because ya'll have higher pressure machines doesn't mean everyone does.

Well still......you never know what is in your cow's milk. We pasteurize milk for many reasons. But don't even drink raw milk or advocate for it.

I love how every farmer gives themselves that title. I used to rent a house that was on someone's farm land and I always found it interesting that he introduced himself as "Farmer John" instead of just "John". I like how farmer is an honorary title like judge or doctor. ^_^

I miss it out in the country. The quiet and the scenery, but especially the calves and kittens.

Your hand milking demo was perfect bit this was bad. Hold the claw body in one hand with the inflations (rubber that goes on teat) hanging down. Kink each one so the air doesn't escape and put on one teat at a time. If you just tip them up without kinking, the other ones will fall off which is probably why he asked for help.
