Why do people say grind? Its called leveling up. You build your power with other gamers while exploring. It is the sole reason for playing an RPG. If you want to just shoot people with no RPG elements involved you go play an FPS or Guild Wars. If your calling the core gameplay of a game a grind. It sounds like you just don't like RPGs. So leave.

Yes and no.

TM raped due to their beta access and usage of exploits and monster exploitation to gain large viable assets (Xzyzz zyXz is a prime example along with QuasimodoSama DeApocalyptica / Rock Lee) of having 450+ HP characters with maxxed everything, having maxxed magic in the first months whilst people barely had rend from GM. This was applied to all TM members who grinded + Alot of RN members making them super viable in PvP until magic patch was released and people caught up. :D gj tho.

Even tho i love rippers vids, the mercs where the kings of exploiting. They left the game as soon as they lost their exploited advantage and where suddenly getting rolled by everyone.

Love the way parts of the community tries to draw new people to DF. Too bad about all those working, maybe unknowlingly, towards the oposite. No matter how u turn it, DF needs a steady influx of new players to keep going. In a sandbox, the community has a part of that responsability and common acceptance for cheating/exploiting and bored vets resorting to noob hunting/griefing is probably not the best recipe for success.

A few of us do on the NA1 server, but not under the TM name, as most of our core group has left.

If and when Darkfall does legit advertising and the server has/gets a full player base, basically if there's a reason to come back, TM is always looking for a challenge, we left because we accomplished everything that the game could offer at the time. A few core TM are still playing on the NA1 server and a few are still playing on the EU1 server as well but there's no official TM tag in game until we all make an official decision to come back.

actually that's completely false, we all have our accounts, most are waiting to see if Darkfall will pickup again in terms of a large player base. Ripper and Zen and YB are playing here and there.

They accomplished mostly everything, TM usually takes a bow after dominating then moves onto the next game. Darkfall is pretty special in the fact that a lot of TM are actually still considering going back.
