It doesn't hurt the gerbil. Neither is it that "disturbing" as the uploader did not poke/poke/poke or do other whack-ass things that I've seen in other gerbil vids.

oh my god people. the gerbil wasnt hurt at all, its like when you wrestle with your dog, your not hurting it, and the dog will always wrestle back. theres a difference between cruelty and just having fun with your pets..he,,or she,,did nothing wrong to the animal...people take this kind of stuff to far, i could see if he threw it at the wall or something, that would piss me off too, but he barely touched it, it moved very easily on the floor, took barely any pressure.

Gerbils are very capable of doing tricks, did you know? my gerbs can jump on command and 'stay' as well. i got them as adults so they took a long time to get used to me, but soon i got them doing the tricks the old owners promised they could do. Love gerbils so much!
