  • Another comment complimenting your recoil control. Wow man... you make subcompact 45 recoil look like its a 9mm

  • @thekingofHar95 @GunWebsites lol I meant Armscor(misspelled that one), also known as RIA(Rock Island Armory)

  • Is the Sig Sauer P-220 .45 ACP a better pistol than the ParaOrdinance Warthog?

I heard that the Warthog is very ammo sensitive.

  • This is the first video i saw of gunwebsites

  • im not too sure of this, but i have heard that para ordance is the only manufacturer of the 1911 that double stacks, is this true?

  • @thekingofHar95

    I think so

  • @GunWebsites ok thanks and nice vid!

  • @GunWebsites Rock Island Armory from the Philippines and Norinco from China also makes a double stack 1911.

  • @thekingofHar95 not 100% true but they are one of the best out ther , there are other such as STI ,Steyer Voight

and a scant few of exceptional quality .

Of "questionable" quality is Armscor / Rock Island armory ( I know their "vanilla 1911's are good haven't tested their "2011" double stacks yet , hence why I regard them as questionable. ( I reserve all opinions good or ill , upon the crucible of review & shooting .)

  • @reignick1133 They're also probably the cheapest, since STI's double stacks, amazing though they are, generally run in the 1.5-2K$ range.

  • @thekingofHar95 @GunWebsites No. Armscore makes a double stack fullsize 1911.

  • FINALLY! This is exactly what I wanted to see. Someone using isometric tension on a compact .45. I've been debating between a .45 and a .40 for a concealable firearm, and was leaning more towards the .40 for manageable recoil, but I may have to change my mind. I've shot .45 all my life, and in my opinion, it is the best round for personal defense. THANK YOU!

  • Your recoil control is simply remarkable. Good shooting.

I own a full size 1911 by Para USA and its a great gun.

I thought about getting one of these along with an ankle holster. :)

I love how they fit 10 rounds of .45acp in that little gun.

  • I have one and I want the Colt New Agent. It appears the New Agent would be more comfortable/concealable. Anybody have any input on this? My Warthog is big/bulky and heavy. I like to carry on my hip in paddle holsters.....just seems like the New Agent is more my speed.

  • plenty to hang on to rookie

  • great control! i don't know why everyone is talking shit, but i guess everyone is an expert on youtube. KEEP IN MIND PEOPLE.... not everyone's technique work for everyone. you only get better by putting rounds down range.

  • Man that is just crazy how you recover from that recoil. If you can I'm really interested in your technique on how you handle that .45 like that. It looks like your shooting a 9mm.

  • @NeoAngeloX1

Strong grip, lots of practice ..

  • @GunWebsites Yeah, I guess it has nothing to do with the double recoil springs and thefact the gun has been designed to have the least amount of recoil of any .45 acp in the world.

  • @GunWebsites LOL Roger that.

  • @NeoAngeloX1

No kidding when he fires it looks like someone from the movies, the recoil looks as though it practically does not exist!

  • @NeoAngeloX1 i was thinking the exact same thing, Im gonna practice that.

  • i was told that shooting a .45 will tear the webing in between the thumb and index finger... is this true?

  • @braincandie whoever told you that probably don't know how to grip a pistol. they probably gripped it too high where their webbing got caught up on the upper slide.

  • thats a nice looking gun, If i get $500 and trade in my sigma I want to get the Warthog 9

  • @Peckerwood702 I got a brand new Para USA Hawg 9 and it is by far the biggest piece of junk I have ever owned. Over 300 rounds and 99% were failure to feed and stovepipe jams. I have never fired a full clip yet. Been back at the factory for 4 weeks now and have not received a email or phone call. Also after the 300 rounds 30% of the finish has wore off. I will never buy a Para product again and you should never consider one.

  • The recoil looks pretty manageable!

  • What can you recommend for controlling recoil like that? Do you just have a death grip or what?

  • good question, it's not so much the strength of the grip, (although a strong grip is good), but the way we are taught to hold them is with both hands holding as much of the grip as possible, using a push pull.. so it's the technique, not the muscle

  • I never know if I'm doing enough push/pull or too much. How many pounds of force would you say if you had to guess?

  • if i may, i think that the style of your stance and grip is what allows for such smooth shooting. i think leaning into it like you did, and standing square to the target and gun using both eyes to shoot rather than closing one really helps. or at least, that's how i shoot

  • @GunWebsites Push pull would throw you off target. It's all about trigger squeeze. A SOLID, not strong grip is required. This guy is full of shit.

  • @isisncasey it's not that serious man. his technique works for him. someone asked for HIS advice, and he gave him HIS advice. as long as he's putting safe accurate shots downrange, then it's all good. Some guys like to eat pussy before they fuck, and some guys don't like to eat pussy before they fuck, either way their getting pussy at the end.

  • @Theriomalstrom

He's right. If you're right handed, you grab the pistol and aim, then your left hand is your grip hand. As you are aiming your left hand should pull toward you. This gives you a relaxed steady grip and better trigger control. Then squeeze the trigger when you are ready. That's the technique except you do it as you draw and aim in one smooth motion.

  • @Theriomalstrom

I'd like to say thanks for all the videos, And, I was wondering if in your future videos you could do something on a COP 357 Derringer..Unless you already have that is.

  • @CovertAgentSkittles I think you have me confused with the uploader (GunWebsites). This is not my channel.

  • @Theriomalstrom

    Oh..oops..My Bad.

  • beautiful gun man

  • Great vid. I am looking get a 3 inch 1911. Been looking at the para ordinance warthog and hawg 9mm. Can't find much of any reivews on this brand of guns. R they reliable quaility built guns? Appreciate any feedback, Thanks

  • spend the extra 300 bucks and get a kimber ultra cdp or you could spend about the same amount and get the ultra carry.

  • i've heard those jam a lot. do u have any experience with these?

  • Never once has mine jammed, but you might be thinking about the little hiccup Kimber had with external extractors. They have fixed it. I did shoot a warthog, I am not a fan of double stacked magazines, too bulky for .45, parabellum may feel slightly better.

  • hey thanks for the response. like i said i've only heard a few rumors about that but didn't know what to believe. thanks again

  • No problem. It's just one of those things that happen, manufacturers try something new and screw everything up- so for about two years Kimber used external extractors on their 3'' pistols and it turned out to be a mistake by design, now they are using internal extractors again.

  • u can garuntee any 1911 style pistol will be reliable enough for a civilian shooter or ccw. now as for a police officer or military role i have no idea if this would stand up to the torture tests

  • How big is the grip compared to the normal 1911?

  • So you are calling us liars?

Just because you can not shoot well, don't assume others are as sloppy as you

  • @JackSureshot thats the most ignorant fkn thing I have ever heard anyone say...You should be stripped of all your firearms immediatley for your clear projection of stupidity...Go crawl back in your fkn hole and stay there, the world is a better place without idiots like you.

  • @SayNo2Terror

what is your deal? you retarded or something? or maybe just an angry a troll. either way, what a tough guy behind the keyboard, its obvious you should be banned from owning firearms due to immediate need of anger management. Ive blocked your dumb ass and will delete all comments so dont bother, wow you are truly disturbed. get help.

  • @JackSureshot if you train to shoot like slop, then you'll most likely miss your target in an intense situation.

  • @JackSureshot It's about accuracy, you dumb shit. A tight grouping like that just means that you can reproduce one accurate shot right after another. It shows that you know how to place a shot wherever you need it to go, not just spraying lead everywhere and hoping a couple rounds hit your target. Douche bag.

  • @DG121480

man you are so tough on the internet, im shaking in my boots, you have the mental capacity of the number of rounds in the warthog, do the math now retard, way to be tough on a year old post, your a complete moron and now every reader here knows it, hey XLAX, All that counts is the first shot . . . . freaking newb. LMAO

  • @JackSureshot Go ahead and get it all out of your system... feel better? Good. Seems the author has seen fit to leave my comment up here, which is more than I can say for you. When it's all said and done, I'll go to bed knowing I'm generally just a better person than you in every way. I'm pretty sure any comment you leave here after will simply reinforce my argument that you're a complete douche bag... You're already in over your head, but by all means, keep digging.

  • @JackSureshot

Funny story, I just watched this video, read the comments, read that its a year old post, and your still the douche-bag, not DG121480.

  • holy shit that guys a good shooter he controlled that recoil like it was his bitch!

  • thanks, but he cheats...

he shoots many thousands of rounds each year

  • @GunWebsites

hes just lucky and im jealous

  • Comment removed

  • I have one as EDC. My only problem was during the break in period. The recoil spring assembly broke. Para sent a new one no hassle. The para kote is not impressive IMO. I have no problems with the remington godlen saber 185gr. I would recommend getting hogue wrap around grips for it and an extended msh and always use the finger extension on the mags.

  • thanks for the info !

  • you handled it like it was a 22

  • that is why people who like .45acp like it so much

it is a very comfortable recoil for most people and a well designed pistol helps with recoil too

  • I was disappointed to discover that Para and Mec Gar are producing the older P14 magazines with a plastic spacer limiting the capacity to 10 rounds instead of 13 its supposed to be. WTF is that about?

  • CA legal?

Is that all they make? Or is that just one option?

  • thats all I've found, they are so difficult to find so I bought them anyway, but this was in Arizona.

  • did the inserts come out, (like a plug) or are they permanently only 10 rounds?

  • no its not an insert the magazine is designed this way the bottom is plastic and where the metal and spring starts on top of it it has a counter hole for 10 and 5 rounds. on the reverse side it says MG-14-.45 . These magazines are about 16 dollars a piece, the Para USA magazines are also ten rounds and same design but cost over 25 dollars a piece.

  • dang, hope you find more hi-caps someplace

  • Some countries limit handgun magazine capacity to only 10 rounds.

I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the decision but Para used to be headquartered (at least partially) in Canada. Canada caps handgun magazines at 10 rounds.

  • I'm sure they used a 10 round magazine due to the pistol being so small. They have other gun with higher round counts

  • wow ten rounds in a subcompact 1911? thats cool.

Too bad I'm more of a Glock guy. 30SF all the way!

  • apples and oranges IMO

But with those choices, I'd go Glock too

  • hey! this is the place i shoot at!!!!!!

    i love this place!

    same alley too!

  • Cool we usually shoot on Thurs or Fridays (we are the guys with cameras, LOL)

  • ten round is a lot for that little thing, ive seen a full sized kahr pistol that only holds 6 in 9mm

  • best gun in the world for me i love my 45 para warhog

  • i like this one, guy's right. not much to hold onto and it's fat with all the fullsized safety locks

  • its like a compact 45 cal. love it

  • it is a compact .45.

  • well we were just test firing it after gunsmithing of some kind..

I just turned the camera on to show what these shoot like, so people can see recoil, grip, etc

  • I would have expected more recoil. What was your group like? Did every round hit the target at that range?

  • I was surprised how accurate it was

  • You only had 6 in the mag? Mine fits 10+1.

  • para ordnance is the best thing to come out of canada. i think the u.s. models are assembled in t. lauderdale though. in compliance with u.s. laws, certain gun parts must be made in the u.s.a.

  • lol. only good thing about these is the quality of the persons design and the paint job

  • what are you talking about? para ordnance didn't invent the 1911 design (john moses browning did), however, they took the single stack 7/8 round mags and made them a staggered 14 rd in .45 full size. they also made the first double actiojn only 1911's (hooray for law enforcement). paint job? you mean metal finish? yea, they offer some sweet finishes....THE BEST THING TO COME OUT OF CANADA.

  • true that you know your guns

  • he controlled the hell out of that. Great shooting.

  • so you know you wouldnt want to bet your life on it but i think im gonna try one out just for the range and recreational shooting so ill let you know how it goes or if you decide to try it you should post a vid of it...

  • nice vid... i have recently ordered this weapon myself and i have been looking for magazine capacity extenion but plates all over the place i found a realy shity plastic +2 .45 model but nothing but shit reviews which is surprising because it is in brownells catalog... but i have come across a few guys saying that you could go with a para P-14 mag in the warthawg it would obviously stick out a bit although para did say it would fit it would not be "dependable"

  • Great technique

  • 10+1 is plenty for a 1911 in .45, especially one that size. How much did it run you?

  • Well I just got my SS Para warthog, and i've got to say so far I love it. Powerful little cannon but it fits great in my hands. And its extremely easy to conceal. Shoots good too, so far not problems at all. Hopefully it continues to be a great gun. I give it two big thumbs up.

  • I didn't think I would like it, but it shot well and felt good in my hand. The only drawback is magazine capacity IMO

  • Can you fire +P from the slim hawgs?

  • What is your over all opinion of this pistol? any drawbacks?

  • magazine capacity is an issue IMO

  • Great grip sir. Yea you made the recoil look minimal.

I was thinking about getting one of these for CCW.

    On the fence I guess.

  • I was surprised how light the recoil was on this small frame 1911 style .45acp

  • Hows the recoil? Doesn't look too bad...
