FINALLY! This is exactly what I wanted to see. Someone using isometric tension on a compact .45. I've been debating between a .45 and a .40 for a concealable firearm, and was leaning more towards the .40 for manageable recoil, but I may have to change my mind. I've shot .45 all my life, and in my opinion, it is the best round for personal defense. THANK YOU!
I have one and I want the Colt New Agent. It appears the New Agent would be more comfortable/concealable. Anybody have any input on this? My Warthog is big/bulky and heavy. I like to carry on my hip in paddle holsters.....just seems like the New Agent is more my speed.
great control! i don't know why everyone is talking shit, but i guess everyone is an expert on youtube. KEEP IN MIND PEOPLE.... not everyone's technique work for everyone. you only get better by putting rounds down range.
Man that is just crazy how you recover from that recoil. If you can I'm really interested in your technique on how you handle that .45 like that. It looks like your shooting a 9mm.
@GunWebsites Yeah, I guess it has nothing to do with the double recoil springs and thefact the gun has been designed to have the least amount of recoil of any .45 acp in the world.
@braincandie whoever told you that probably don't know how to grip a pistol. they probably gripped it too high where their webbing got caught up on the upper slide.
I got a brand new Para USA Hawg 9 and it is by far the biggest piece of junk I have ever owned. Over 300 rounds and 99% were failure to feed and stovepipe jams. I have never fired a full clip yet. Been back at the factory for 4 weeks now and have not received a email or phone call. Also after the 300 rounds 30% of the finish has wore off. I will never buy a Para product again and you should never consider one.

good question, it's not so much the strength of the grip, (although a strong grip is good), but the way we are taught to hold them is with both hands holding as much of the grip as possible, using a push pull.. so it's the technique, not the muscle
if i may, i think that the style of your stance and grip is what allows for such smooth shooting. i think leaning into it like you did, and standing square to the target and gun using both eyes to shoot rather than closing one really helps. or at least, that's how i shoot
@isisncasey it's not that serious man. his technique works for him. someone asked for HIS advice, and he gave him HIS advice. as long as he's putting safe accurate shots downrange, then it's all good. Some guys like to eat pussy before they fuck, and some guys don't like to eat pussy before they fuck, either way their getting pussy at the end.
He's right. If you're right handed, you grab the pistol and aim, then your left hand is your grip hand. As you are aiming your left hand should pull toward you. This gives you a relaxed steady grip and better trigger control. Then squeeze the trigger when you are ready. That's the technique except you do it as you draw and aim in one smooth motion.
I'd like to say thanks for all the videos, And, I was wondering if in your future videos you could do something on a COP 357 Derringer..Unless you already have that is.
Great vid. I am looking get a 3 inch 1911. Been looking at the para ordinance warthog and hawg 9mm. Can't find much of any reivews on this brand of guns. R they reliable quaility built guns? Appreciate any feedback, Thanks
Never once has mine jammed, but you might be thinking about the little hiccup Kimber had with external extractors. They have fixed it. I did shoot a warthog, I am not a fan of double stacked magazines, too bulky for .45, parabellum may feel slightly better.
No problem. It's just one of those things that happen, manufacturers try something new and screw everything up- so for about two years Kimber used external extractors on their 3'' pistols and it turned out to be a mistake by design, now they are using internal extractors again.
u can garuntee any 1911 style pistol will be reliable enough for a civilian shooter or ccw. now as for a police officer or military role i have no idea if this would stand up to the torture tests

no way he got that group. BTW grouping in real life is over rated bullshit, the nightmare for any trauma doctor is not 4 bullets in the same 4 inch area, it makes it easy to stop the bleeding, but give him the same 4 shots all over the place, and the person shot will probably die of blood loss and shock. and please stop all the B.S. about caliber size, a 45 to the tow wont kill, a 22 to the face will. @JackSureshot It's about accuracy, you dumb shit. A tight grouping like that just means that you can reproduce one accurate shot right after another. It shows that you know how to place a shot wherever you need it to go, not just spraying lead everywhere and hoping a couple rounds hit your target. Douche bag.
