Not exactly, but it can indeed be used in similar ways. Nexus is far more complicated... But the sounds produced with sytrus can easily be mistaken for those of nexus.

Realtime synthesis(non Romplers or Samplers) allow you to create an instrument around a melody. Samplers make you create a melody around an instrument. It's like using the VIPzone melodies, but with instruments... It's a cooler level of creativity to design your own instrument. :)

First of all nice presets, I appreciate them very much now, since I figured out how to use sytrus in Ableton live. Secondly, you should really make a tune out of the first melody since it isa one of the best melodies I've ever heard to be honest!
