@MrB0B1001 ive been playing for 7 monthes and i can play this. it will take time to get used to the fingering and all the chords, but a beginner can play this

a power chord is playing the root note, usually on your E string and the 5th of the root (5 notes after the root in your major scale).

Example A power chord: 5th frete string, 7th fret A string. This gives a very rockish tone, even on acustic guitar. A matter of taste is putting playing the root in 2 octaves: that would be root (1 of the major scale), 5th (5 of the major scale) and 8th (8 of the major scale).

remaining with A: 5th fret E, 7th fret A, 7th fret D.

Thats a power chord.

@ilovebluessolos yea just do the A power chord on the 6th sting 5th fret and 5th string 7th fret. its much much easier to switch between chords

they sell cheap tuners in guitar center or any other places that they sell guitars. mine is pretty good with chord teacher and all for 19.99 or you can learn how to tune it by ear
