That depends if you're asking by NBA rules or in this game. Both would be answered by when the ball is touched. There would not have been enough time if it was when it crossed the line.

i remember this game like it was yesterday. howard and nelson made an amazing duo. howard has been my fave player ever since he was drafted. amazing. i watched that replay 500 times at least. very nice rewind of the game too.

Shaq had zero skills. He much heavier and stronger than Howard as a rookie. ALl he could do was back you down and dunk. Shaq was fun to watch but Howard is much more skilled (he can hit a jump-shot and now a shot off the glass like Duncan). Howard is also a better shot-blocker than Shaq was. At the end Shaq's physique has taken his tall. He's too heavy and missing too many games nowadays with the Heat.

Was at that game, what the video doesn't show is T Parker missing three out of four free throws. Had he made those it would have been done, but it was to damn loud. Closest thing to a playoff win we got that year. Greatest regular season game ever, period.

Yeah dude, My friend got me tickets there last minute. I didn't have my hopes up to high with there recent slump, and them playing one of the best teams in the NBA. But man, the whole second half was awesome. When Howard won the game I swear it felt like I was in one of those sports movies where the hero does something great and the crowd goes nuts. Awesome.
