  • Sorry what size electric water pump should I get. I think it'll be an 8' head height to the coil.

  • @StreetMachine18 hi the pump in the vid is flow rate 700L/Hr and max head 1.2m water fountain pump. what is (gph)

  • Nice setup, I am doing a similar build. What size (gph) do you suggest I buy? I have a copper coil and cooling sleeve. I'm gunna be running a keg with a electric water heater element.

  • that looks dodgey as fuck

  • get rid of that plastic... the alcho leaches chemicals outta it..

dont use anything except stainless steel, copper, and i guess glass.

dont use brass, you will end with lead in the shine. (Altho you can pickle the brass and make it work)

dont use anything fora gasket or sealer other than PTFE and cork.

using anything else, and its contaminated.

  • @Lynium thank you for your advice i only usesed this distill kit once and did not drink the shine

  • @Lynium lol as a plumber you dont want to use copper unless is its ACP medical copper pipe there are many many different types of copper pipe and not knowning how each one is made you can and will get very sick eat or drinking out of the wrong type of copper pipe

  • stainless steel 316 grade is the GO but can you tig weld . this one on the vid is made out of copper tube 50 mm diameter filed with glass beads with a glass thermometer on top and cooling jakit on the other side its for distilling or makin alcohole

  • what kind of tube did you use? any recommendations, something thats clean and chemical free?

  • @MeddyNYC hi have replied

  • @MeddyNYC hi looked at your youtube site i am using rain water in my distilling and fermenting process to make alcohole and not fluoride tap water

  • @MeddyNYC hi looked at your utube site i use rainwater in my process and not fluoride tap water

  • i think i see blood at 0:58

  • I guess there is an entire water distilling community on youtube. Shit is serious.

  • I have to do all of this just for some kool-aid !!!!!

"I like the red and purple kind"

  • hey 777morto, respond back please if you will, can you do this with salt water? cause im doing a science project and i wanna know, cause if you can, i might use this set up, maybe,

  • nice job crafting that unit. Slow down the water as much as you can and run the heat as low as you can and still maintain a top column temp of around 175-180. You'll see a BIG difference in the product. Remember, this is a Sloooowww process for the good drinkin stuff. Take you sweet time... it's well worth the time and effort. Good job.

  • moonshine!!!! jk lulz

  • never use plastic it gives the drink a funny taste but u have a nice set up lol

  • @seoulkidd1 thanks for the advice I didn't know that one .This was the last brew i put down as i work to much by the way it's a rough kit but i like that about my kit as i am a boilermaker but not a rough one

  • @777morto u set up is ok just invest in copper tubing n u will see the difference. i like 2 restill the drink 2 - 3 times 4 a good drink. cheers

  • I am using a pressure cooker tubing is connected to a stainless steal coil in a bucket of water. I am getting water but when I measured it it was showing it was 111 ppm and my sink water measure 112. Now I know distilled water should measure 00 ppm I even ran it through a carbon filter and it read 26 ppm what am I doing wrong. and what is safe water measures in ppm if I cant get distilled water to come through HELP PLEASE what am I doing wrong with this distiller.

  • you got any plans for this dude?

  • awesome

  • Well done! Tho if I may drop a couple improvement ideas:

    1) add a refractory chamber at the top to keep back more water

    2) Try a coil in an ice bath after the cooling jacket for greater output volume

But I really like the metal workmanship

  • wow cool

  • hey nice kit, you wanna make me 1 man
