to get it work with the colors, liek make the red work, u have to change the color code to

B:0

For Green

G:250

B:0 and for blue, u get the point, u have to experiment for other colors

I did that except its hard moving the ends of the lightsaber. i eventually got the hang of it but it startred going all wibbly wobbly and it really sucked. i tried again but the good thing that happened didn't happen again.

also i cant get the keyframes working.

top right of the video properties, you can "show animation keyframes" so instead of clipping the video over and over again, just use different animation keyframes, or maybe I just mis-understood, but it looked like you clipped the video itself to change the frame which works as well, but the animation timeline makes tedious rotoscoping a bit easier and faster and more endurable.

Just thought I'd point that out. nice tips though, i would've never thought the lightning effect could be that good...

scratch all that man, I was wrong... it makes the lightning do weird crud and doesn't line up at all.... therefore, great solution to the lightning problem! As well as great tutorial!!!! boy I really stuffed my foot in my mouth....lol
