The next best thing for flight simulators is voice control.
It can be tough to adjust speed, altitude and heading in virtual cockpit.
That's why i use something called "Multi Crew Experience". I can just bark voice commands, and the virtual co-pilot executes for me. I can even talk to native ATC or Radar Contact ATC.
Incidentally, there is a downloadable free demo. You'll have to find it on your own though :-))
Yes there is lag, but I'm using an old single core PC with only a NVIDEA 6200 card, FSX lags on PC's a lot more powerful and much faster than this one.
Nice, There seemed to be a slight lag in graphic response to your movement, do you think adjusting the Pre-rendered frame setting in your Graphic card will help?
This just demonstrates 2 DOF, as you can see it hightens the realism when flying in the VC, immersing you into the simulator. I am going to make another video showing the modifications I made to the webcam, and a link to the FreeTrack website.
If you'd be interested in it just comment here. Thanks, Aaron
Quite nice for a cheap alternative to TrackIR

It may, I'll have to give it a try.
I have Free Track set at 50% sensitivity, speeding it up may help also.
I have a bad neck and like to move real slow and smooth.
