Besides, Jacky covered those Japanese songs in CANTONESE and interpreted them in his own unique styles resulting in them becoming huge hits! You don't seem to realize Jacky composes his own songs and is a lyricist too! All the songs in his album 'Life is like a dream' are composed by him! The media in HK gave Jacky that title as a recognition to his vocal ability!

The media in HK would of course give that title to a local singer instead of someone foreign. If Jacky is not deserving of that title, nobody will use it. As simple as that!
